Khedira is an important player. I don't think he's necessarily talented, but he's smart and good in defense.

When Real Madrid sold Makelele and bought Beckham, Zidane famously said "What is the point of adding a coat of gold paint to the Bentley if you have sold the engine?"

Khedira is no Makelele, but the point remains that Madrid have a history of undervaluing such players, so I think the Madrid fans and board need to keep faith in him.

I believe the midfielder is the king (Redondo, Guardiola, Mauro Silva, Alonso, Busquets, Pirlo...) not the garbage truck.

But yeah, there are many ways to play football, i just can not stand all the hype around Makelele when it comes about DMF paradigma.

But he is so small and cute. He looks like he is smiling all the time.

He is also very good at what he did, not comparable to Gravensen and Pablo Garcia. Those were much lesser players.
