Would love to see Real Madrid bankrupt.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Not only that, It's Real Madrid, so you know that such a thing would bring in people with money to buy out the team.

We'll be fine

I think any the countries which contribute to any Spanish bailout deal should be able to help themselves to as many Spanish footballers, women and joints of Serrano ham as they like until the money is repaid.

I still say its impossible. They make way too much money.

I dont think it has anything to do with Madrid ability to make money. They have taken loans which they can afford to pay back like everyone pays back loans, the problem is Spains Bankia which has massive problems which in turn funds Madrids acquisitions. Its then that there are potential issues.

As pointed out, whats a massive advantage for Madrid is the low tax rate. If Spain raise's there tax like the rest of Europe they will have to raise there wages when there already in dept. But who's going to fund it... not Bankia. Thats just one aspect of Spains economic problems...

The other major point here is the fact that the ECB are going to demand collateral... I very much doubt they will accept players, which will mean things like Stadiums! Worrying thought.

If the bank goes belly up wouldn't Madrid get a windfall as they don't have to pay off the loans they took out.

I heard the rumor Madrid if after Philipp Lahm. Mou wanted Maicon as well but it seems Chelsea put a bigger offer on the table.

Hmmm (H)

Impossible. Schweinsteiger is a little more likely with Khedira coming back. Still not very likely though.

Is an awesome sign for Madrid

1- Can play in double pivot with Alonso. Competence for Khedira (and Sahin)

2- Can play AMF better than Kaka. Competence for Özil

3- Di María will probably injury and decrease his level. Modric can play AMF and Özil in the right.

4- Allows the team to play 4x3x3 with Alonso + Khedira/Granero + Modric.

Sahin is screwed

Kaka was never given a proper chance at Real Madrid. And now you want to replace him with Luca Modric? Kaka should have been given preference over Mezut Ozil. Instead, they forced him to sit and watch. Rubbish!

They just wasted 2 years in the career of one of the best players in the world.

I mean, you guys remember him in the mid-2000s right? He was lethal!!! I still remember that pass he made to Hernan Crespo in the Champions League final to make it 3-0 for Milan. It was absolutely perfect. Milan were nothing without him. Shevchencko was a soft little puppy, Pirlo had no speed, Inzaghi could only score against teams like Brescia and Crespo was only good for tap-ins. Without Kaka, MILAN would have been nothing. And Real Madrid wasted his career.

What a joke!

BTW, Luca Modric WILL ALSO sit on the bench. Ozil is too good. The Real Madrid midfield is set. No place for another midfielder.
