Raphael vd Vaart would be a great addition to the squad. Im a big fan on him. He is one of the best ACM in the bundesliga. Diego, vd Vaart and Lincoln stood out last year as ACM. I watch ALOT of Bundesliga games so I really know what he is like. And because he also plays for the Dutch NT, I know even more of him. The guy can also play on the right if needed and he has proven that he is great there too. Would be a great signing! And if we get him then we have our new freekick taker ;)

In other news. I dont know if someone mentioned it here, but we are also after Lucho Gonzalez of Porto. He is a very good player too. Not as good as vd Vaart, but he can play almost everywhere in midfield.

Calderon and Mijatovich said that next week we will present 2 or 3 players. Last time they said that we've had a great week. Pepe, Metze, Saviola and Dudek. I guess next week will be the week of definitly Robben.

Well, next week will be great thats for sure ;)

The names: Robben, Nasri, Lucho, vd Vaart, Riquelme (?). All those players are great so 2 or 3 of them would complete the squad and definitly make it one of the best squads we've had in the last decade. Every spot would be covered twice :|

out of those players itll probably be robben and van da vaart or nasri.

our squad will be complete if we get those 2, but well need to get red of a couple more players in spain the maximum is 25 playes in a squad, so far we have 27 not counting robben and vanda vaart and cassano because he is certain to leave.

so we have to get rid of 4 players.

the will probably be salgado, bueno back to castilla, and the other 2 iam not sure ho they will be.

I was thinking about that b4. We are bringing in but not releasing. IMO, Salgado, Cassano are absolute releases. especially the latter. Maybe we plan to have a garage sale?

I actually dont think that Bueno and Adrian will stay in the first team. So count them off. Then you have Cassano and I hope Salgado. So thats like 4 players. Maybe Codina too btw.

Ow and we beat Lokomotiv Moskou 5-2!!!! We were 2-0 down in the first half! Great comeback! didnt saw the game though, was at work :(

What's the situation with Robben now? I'm really hoping this deal doesn't go through, because if it does then Chelsea will almost certainly use that money to buy Dani Alves.

I think this transfer season has been most embarrasing for Madrid, say what you will, we did get some quality signings, but.....the promised players never came, mirred in speclation, fumbled deals and mis information, not a great showing for the front office at ALL :nape:

A complete twist again in the Robben transfersaga.

Real Madrid apparently offered 40 mil euros for Robben AND Ballack! This isnt coming from Marca or AS. This one is coming from Onda Madrid. I dont know, but if this is true, then we can make a few jumps in the air, because it would be a superb deal. Still I'd rather go with younger players then Ballack, but if this is the best we can get then so be it. Ballack is phenomenal, there is no doubt about that. With him in midfield, we would be a rock. But vd Vaart is also great! I dont know, lets wait and see! Very interesting days to come ;)

I also read that im speechless right now dont know what to think the president and the coach talk too much about signing and I dont really know which are true or false hope this one is true though I was getting used to the idea that Nasri or Van der vart wold come with Robben but damn Robben and Ballack thats just a big wow!!!:taz:

btw 5 players should be on their way out of the first squad Cassano, Emerson, Salgado, Bueno, Adrian and maybe Codina

... Chelsea wanted 36 million for Robben. Why would they give Madrid Robben+Ballack for 40 million? I think Calderon is blowing more smoke up our asses.

Ballack did/is not gonna work for Mourinho, and I feel that after he left to have surgery before the last games, that just help make up Mourinho's mind.

Dani alves will leave, sevillista. I expect this to be the last signing by Chelsea before the season starts.

This are just my opinions. But we shall see what happens in the coming days

ABSOLUTELY!!! If you read marca then it's even more embarrasing. everymorning after some club denies us a player, raises the price or just about says "stop begging" They announce another target. We've been linked with like 8 replacements for Robben, Drointhe and about 12 replacements for Kaka....even Iniesta! Calderon and Pedja couldn't buy a 5 cent whore! I miss Florentino in these cases.

Ham, Ballack would be ideal since he'd balance out the age and experience in the squad. He'd be aperfect short term solution.

I'd offer these players + baptista + 50mil for Kaka.

By the way, anyone that believes Calderon is a fool. He is by far the worst pres. when it comes to signings and promises in quite some time. I used to check marca every morning around 3 or 4 inbetween feeding my infant to see if anything has happened. It's now a complete bore. All I see are headlines like"Nasri! If Kaka, Vandervart, Riquelme, Lucho, Lucho's mom and the kitchen sink fail"! Notice how little by little the quality players linked in case Kaka fails have lowered. By the time we sign Kaka's imposter he'll be someone from Bulgarias C division! Snooze.

Not only that, but Ballack is a very hard worker. He isnt scared of a challenge! He is a great tackler, a SUPERb header and most important, he is a fantastic playmaker! He does a lot of defensive work too! Apart from his age, its would be a magnificant signing, but I dont think it will happen! We had to get him last year! (shame Capello wanted the 2 DM system)

ballack would be a good signing he is by far the most realistic target at the moment.

on the game yesterday: we played poorly in the first half we had a sh*it team on the field they were cutting through us like a hot nife on butter, the only players that performed were guti and balboa, guti was awesome in this game he looked very good he didnt do any of his whoaring around and moaning at everything. he seems to have found his form, if only he was a bit more consistant we could then flip the bird to kaka and every one else that seems to be linked with us, he scored 2 goals and set up one he was quite good. who knows maybe schuster will know how to handle him, h does reamind me alot of schuster as a player. maybe the answear to our problem could be right in front of us.
