who could we of had better then raul playing instead of him?

the only ones i can think of is owen or morientes, but if u ask me id rather have raul then them 2.

raul will start the few 5 or 6 games this season and if he doesnt perform then he should be benched.

in the game against sevilla raul got the loudest cheer and aplaus when he was bieng subtituted, hopefully he starts to perform, the reason he didnt play that well last season is because he was bieng played on the right wing, which isnt his position, in the last 10 gmes last season he scored 4 goals playing as a SS with RVN.

Morientes, definitely. I rate him very highly and I think he would have done great had he stayed. I think he was unlucky to play for Madrid in the era of the Galacticos. He wasn't a Galactico so he was loaned and eventually sold. If he were in your club NOW, it would have been an entirely different story IMO. Great striker.

you can say all you want about raul, But if you followed him closely all season long. You clearly saw that there were more times that he would be in the game and by the end of the day you would have thought he wasn't even on the field. I am for benching him and starting saviola, and using Raul as a sub when we are up by one or two and close to winning the game... He is past his prime

Benching him would be a little hard to accomplish. The last guy who tried got shipped elsewhere if memory serves me well.

No I'm not watching :( Sport1 doesnt show it because of the tv right isue. So I'm following it like you...old-skool :( Its s*ch BS that this game has those rights problems. We have waited along time for this game. F*CK!

its messed up, as everything has been in the build up to this season. a shambles.
they manage to show the sevilla game after tho, just not the one that matters haha, hopefully we will see highlights through real madrid.tv or something, surely they dont need rights to film their own team!

On the game, Great game from what I saw and as long as raul plays like this, then you will not hear me talking bad about him. Thats is how I want him to play every game.

we made it haha. i like kun aguero, i no hes a atleti player but def one to watch.
3 points on the board. thats all that matters and sneijder had a blinding game( or so eurosport live commentary said) haha
shame couldnt watch it, put a downer on the win really
