Honestly, I don't like hearing news about people being injured even if it's some dangerous guy like Messi. The guy is great but I think we can win or draw regardless if he's in the lineup or not. They are all dangerous players over there so that just means someone like Ronnie will fill in. He has alot to prove as someone mentioned here. Playing second fiddle to kids must be hurting his ego immensely. Sitting there on the bench while 18 year olds are playing must be too much to swallow so I'm sure he'll come out extra motivated. The Messi injury may hurt us more than help us. Regardless, we have a better team than them (hence: being champions and leaders this year) and I expect to at least come out with a draw. By the way, I am glad we didn't play a cracking game today and score bucketloads. Usually when that happens, the next game suffers. That's the pattern. It'd be nice to spend the winter break ahead by 7 points.

P.S- Pepe/Cannavaro duo is really impressing me more and more.

All I can tell you is that Arsenal has pure gold with Vela. What a player! He is really gifted. But I dont know if you guys see him as a striker (wich he is/was) but as a winger he is really phenomenal. You guys are gonna enjoy him. He was very good yesterday. In the opening 15 minutes of the first half even Sergio Ramos had difficulties against him.

there was one incident at the corner flag where he skinned Ramos good and proper and not many do that. he was osasuna'a best player by far i thought. even at corners he was a threat. very good player, Arsene has done it again. they are waiting on a work permit i believe until he can play in england.

I cant wait for the match, because I think this is gonna be one of the best games in a long long time! A Real Madrid in top form and a Barca that regained their form! Eto'o is back. Shame that Messi isnt there (well shame for us, not for Marcelo/Torres/Heinze) We will hopefully have Robben back! This will be an interesting match. For the first time Eto'o will have to use something else than his speed against a real Madrid defence, because PEPE!!! is phenomenal! (what a buy!!!) MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!!!!

I think Pepe like Sergio Ramos will eventually prove his worth. I mean seems to me that every game he has been getting better, so I fully expect that in a few years he will solidify himself as one of the top defenders in the world...nobody seems to care now that we paid 27mill for Sergio, he is worth all that and more to us now, along with Raul he is the spirit of the team...


and yes, may the best team win! this classico is going to be hot!

Yes, Pepe is definatey quality and he has phenomenal pace. I thought he had another great game. We struck gold with Ramos and now it looks like Pepe is on the same track. I must say that cannavaro has been playing great lately and makes a great pair with Pepe. Ramos is the spirit of the team along with Raul and Guti. aside from his talent, Ramos has the look and attitude of a warrior, never giving up + he has an abundance of confidence. IMO, he is the best RB in the world. I can't wait for the clasico! Should be acracker and ahard fought match. A plus on Barcas side is that Etoo is back and looks good and Ronaldinho won't be benched in favor of some 18 year old and has alot to prove so he will be hard to contain. a plus on our side is that well, we have a very gifted deep squad, are the league leaders with 4 points so I think we will be playing a bit more freely and possibly go for the jugular instead of being overly conservative. Either way, it's nice to go into the winter break as leaders. Prediction? Barca 2 Real 3. Yes, you heard it here. I think this will be another high scoring one.
