I get your point, Soc. I still like Cicinho tho. he´s a good squad player. doesnt complain on the bench and he can cover up for Ramos at RB and Robinho at RW.

i think we should keep him.

but Pedja´s offer for Chivu is just ridiculous i think.. 15M euro + any of Cicinho, Cannavaro or Cassano.

I know Schuster wants Chivu tho, so Pedja´s doing everything he can to get him.

Btw Soc, I know you hate/dislike Cicinho, but come on....he has played fantastic for us in his first year and when he came back from injury he wasnt bad either. I would definatly keep him in the squad. I compare him to Baptista, because he never complaints and he always works hard. And you also cant deny his lightning speed

Again we are linked with a new player, this time the lucky one isssss Florent Malouda. I mean, WTF?! Every player gets linked with us, we are interested in Robben (the deal was as good as done), we are going to sign Reyes (if we believe Mijatovich) and now Malouda. 3 LWs. This is gonna be a great summer To tell you the truth I would get Reyes over them all and hope he is gonna get his best form back. Robben is IMO the best LW, but I dont like his diving, his love for the ball and his injuries. Malouda is for me 3rd choise even if he is a world class winger.

Somehow I am not suprised by this, Calderon has always been an idiot and his victory Zaragoza was stupid as hell which he was rightly critized for. Nothing that he deos really suprises me anymore, never liked him when he got in office and still don't.

Well, dont be sure of that yet. Saviola could also come. I wouldnt be suprised and I wouldnt mind too. Fantastic player! I'v also read about that of Calderon. What a c*nt! I hate the guy. Chivu will almost certainly be a Real Madrid player. Mijatovich upped the bid to 18 mil. And the rest cant give that much! Pretty good signing! Chivu is a great defender, but I must admit that he makes some mistakes. Still Mijatovich has done a good job.

Schuster has a year contract with Getafe and the only thing that Angel Torres wanted was a call from Real Madrid and he even said that he didn't care if it wasn't from Calderón, just a call from Real Madrid. How the hell do you want to sign a coach who has a contract without talking to his club? Getafe just asked for a little respect. Nobody from Real Madrid made that call, wich is stupid. Calderón doesn't like the guy, ok, but this is not about him, it's about Real Madrid. This is about a president who has to do what it's best for his club. You have no right to go and take any coach you want without talking to his club. Now Getafe are right to ask the money if you want him. The only way to sign someone with contract without talking to his club is to pay the buy-out clause, and that's €400.000.

On the other hand, since Atlético will never be your friends, I don't understand why Real Madrid don't try to have a good relation with Getafe. He could easily be like a feeder club. All the players that want to play in primera but are not ready to play in Real Madrid would happily play for Getafe because they would not have to leave Madrid.

He's actually a Real Madrid member. Probably voted for someone other than Calderon. Don't know who is wrong here but hope this nonsense goes away and we can officially announce Schuster.

Injury prone or not. Metzelder was free and when fit he is great. (he isnt like Woodgate) And Chivu is a superb defender. I liked him from the days at Ajax and I still do. I prefer Milito a bit but thats football. You cant have everyone. Now we are going to strengthen the midfield with some wingers! Shame we overlook Quaresma! The guy is pure magic!
