According to Capello (and I believe the man) we could have got Pato for 2 mil. Also we had a bid for Chivu in April worth 6 mil. And it was all done. But here it comes, Mijatovich said, 'He is too young' and about Chivu he said..'WE dont like players from Italy'. I'm not that suprised, but our board are a bit childish. (Marcelo was 18, Higuain 19. So why dont you get Pato who was 17?) O well f*ck it, we have a superb squad.

Yeah now you have to build a team out of all these individuals cause you had almost the same squad last weekend against Sevilla and see where that brought you :X
I still believe that Schuster is the wrong coach for Real Madrid though but we'll see how you progress in the next few months.

I don't know how much I believe of Capello though, but either way why would we have gotten Pato? If it was someone else then I agree, but Capello isnt a man who lies a lot. Either way, f*ck it. We moved on. And he wished Schuster good luck for the coming years. Thats good. He will always be a madrid fan.

Guys, I think we have the fastest wingers in the world. I hope Schuster tries Saviola from the start, his speed is phenomenal. He really can sneak into the defense easily. But maybe Raul can somehow get his football up. We will miss Higuain though

yup injury, i think it is pretty official he is out due to injury, but I dont know he migth still start given that Schuster had all week to work with him as opposed to the rest of the defense

Pepe is injured I guess. Well, I wont say that Robben is faster then C. Ronaldo, but I will say that Robinho is faster then both

pepe isnt injured any more, he had a knock after the sevilla game but he is fine now he trained normall with the rest of the squad 2day.

i think he is suspended after getting sent off against sevilla. but not sure, can anyone confirm?

Since it was 2 yellows in the Spanish Super Cup I think he is able to play for us if he is fit...that's what I think I heard.

I guess so. So I think that Sneijder will play as ACM and Guti as CM. Sneijder is so freakin dangerous when he plays ACM. His shots have soo much power and accuracy. Its a weapon! Still a bit weird though, we have like 3 SS and we dont use any of them

Same here, a bit werid to not use them but I could understand it. But than again if Schuster wants to use a CM why not use Gago, who would do a better job than Guti in terms of controlling the midfield. Guti can be creative and open up the defence but he can't control a midfield like Gago can. Just kind of werid that he would perfer Guti to Gago...I guess it's too much like Capello to use though. I personally want to see the 4-1-3-2 but lets see how this works out.

i think gago should definetely play throughout the season... but hez a bit weak at the moment...
i thought he waz going to bench diarra ... but then i watched
the first game against sevilla... and he lost every ball he touched :X

datboy - I would dissapointed if that's how we played upfront, Raul ( on the right non the less ) as a winger/SS is a no go. Move Robinho to the right and Drenthe to the left ( let Robben sub in later on ) and than it will be better.

justhammy - Gago is young though and I think he can play as the lone DM in place of Diarra ( who has the AFC this year right? ) so Gago will have lots of chances to play so he should be good. My only thing is that if Schuster want's a midfielder behind Wesley than it should be Gago and not Guti.

yeh thats what i heard as well from the guy doing the commenetry on real madrid tv, for the robben hienze presentation.

apperantly that game is organized by a diffrent one that is organized by the league (or something like that iam not sure hope that makes sence lol). I hope he plays anyway, although metzelder looked good against england for germany. but that shows the depth we have in this team, any player gets injured or suspended there is a quality player to play.
