sniejder is awsome, what a great game by madrid everyone played well today except for mybe drenthe but he wasnt playing on his right position, at lw he did well, damn i was thinking this is going to be a hard match seeing how villareal are a decent team, they beat valencia last wekk 3-0, but great game never the less the scary thing is we still have a lot to improve, and all of this while we still have robben and higAuin to come back, gonna be a great season !!HALA MADRID!!.

I guess this is what Schuster was promising us Thanks Schuster. Now we have to keep it up. If Guti keeps this up he will be one of the best in Europe easily. Question is can he keep it up for the long run. Sneijder? This is the Madrid I've envisioned the Galacticos would be. I think we are in for a treat this season. We have a grotesque amaount of talent with depth to match. Although we need to take it one game at a time, I think we sent out a little warning to Spain and Europe. Hala Madrid!

Guys, this was sensational! Sneijder is fantastic! MoM performance! Raul looked very good again. Robinho was dangerous and played very 'european style' football, touching the ball once. Guti was superb!! OMG! Guys this is just not normal any more. Ramos! What a kid! He will be a legend! For me he is already ffs! What a performance on that right side! Drenthe was the worst player when he played as a LB. But as a left winger he did VERY good! Im happy for him! Metze and Canna. What a duo! They look very solid to me!

As much as I like Robinho I thought he was the worst player in attack for us, he was involved in the game a lot but he held on to the ball too much, tried to do too much, and made some really bad passes. I really want to see him improve on this and be more direct ( like Higuain for example ) otherwise we might have to use another option on the right. Just my personal opinion, everyone knows I like him a lot but he really needs to be more direct at times.

I just think that he really needs to work on his decision making, it seems like he can't choose which player to pass to or if he could dribble the ball. There is a time to run with the ball but he has trouble with knowing what to do, it takes him a little while to figure it out. Hopefully this is the season where he grows into being the player everyone knows he can be.

Also I was not too happy to see Baptista come in...we should be using Saviola or Soldado instead.

I know you re a Pepe fan so that explains some of your comment, but i respect your opinion. Pepe has not looked nearly as solid as Metzelder....The reason why I say move over Pepe is because the level of understanding that Cannavaro and Metzelder showed today between each other has not been seen between Cannavaro and Pepe. I will say that i havent really seen Pepe and Metzelder with each other in full, so maybe we should wait for that.

IMO Robihno was the weakest attacker, but like someone said it has more to do with the level of performance of everyone else than Robihno's fault...>This madrid team really brought the total football concept to mind. I recall a play where Guti made a bad pass and then he runs back over 50 meters and takes the ball back from the Villareal player....that says everything...also the third goal began way back when Sneijder made a standup tackle, same for the 5th goal... with a steal from Baptista. Total Football.

Yea, a long season but what's really really encouraging is that we are totally capable of going into the oppositions home and totally taking over and rip em a new one, big time. and what's even more scary is the fact that players like drenthe & Sneijder, Metz have adapted perfectly. I mean it seems as if they've been playing for us for 5 years! I know Drenthe didn't have such a strong game but that's cause he played as a LB. However when he moves into the midfield he is confidant and has lots of talent. He will work out perfectly, watch. I knew Schuster was capable of this I just didn't know it would bear fruit this early in the season. I think he gives the team confidance and encourages attacking football and a no hold back attitude. If this were last year's Caps side we would have defended the whole game after the 1st goal but we kept on trying to get as many goals as possible. Just look at Ramos! He spent 60% of his time in Villareals box! Another thing, Guti showed today that when he's on top of his game he is one of the best footballers in the world, I honestly think so. He owned today like no ones business. And Shneijder? Are you kiddin me? He's magic! Raul? Welcome back Raul!

This was a great performance by the team. It was just so nice to see the way the team played today. If we can get more matches like this i fell it will be a great season for Real Madrid !!
