use young teams player and that will not happends, there is 30 drenthes, 10 vdvs and 7 gagos.OrgulloVikingo;2593197 said:It's come down to Calderon offering money to eeach player if we win the next 5 games!!!!!!! Sad! They should be motivated for other reasons.
What is my team's excuse? For what? I think you know as well as I do that it's near impossible to compete with teams like Madrid and Barcelona for financial reasons. But money only gets you so far.OrgulloVikingo;2593197 said:It's come down to Calderon offering money to eeach player if we win the next 5 games!!!!!!! Sad! They should be motivated for other reasons.
Sevillista, whats your teams excuse? How come you guys havent won anything? Please fill us in and please also tell us what your solution is. Thank you!
its pretty hard to try and establish a team like that, we had that last season for a bit with diarra, guti and sniejder but injurys and suspensions and form make it hard to field th same team every game.Sevillista;2593252 said:What is my team's excuse? I don't think there is a short-term solution for Madrid this year. Madrid has lacked identity for a few seasons now, and now more than ever. I don't have a clue what your ideal 11 is. Of course the injuries hurt and the press is relentless. You also have the "disadvantage" of having teams gunning for you (Real Union wouldn't have been half as motivated if they were playing a team like Getafe).
If I were in charge of Real Madrid, I would establish a midfield with identity. By that I mean two or three creative midfielders that play most every match and stay together for a few seasonos. Look at Barca; When I think of them, I think Xavi and Iniesta, and behind them they have intelligent midfielders like Keita and Hleb who play in the same style. I never know what combination of Guti, Gago, Diarra, Sneijder is going to take the field. And those players are inconsistent.
It would also be nice to see Madrid develop a Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Cesc, etc, instead of trying to buy them.
If you keep treating players like replaceable parts, your team will never be stable.

You asked for my opinion and now you criticize me for giving it? What's your problem? You're going to get outside opinions on your team whether you like it or not. Your team is the constant center of attention in Spain, for better or for worse, so get used to it. Maybe even respond to any one of the several points I made instead of writing me off for being a fan of another team. Also notice that I gave suggestions for a more successful Real Madrid squad; I don't insult or laugh at your team as I so easily could.OrgulloVikingo;2593864 said:Thank you for your brilliant and valuable input. You should go work for Sevilla. With you in there, they would win all titles!
Even with all our problems, we are still defending champs and are still on top of you. Even hammered you in the supercopa. My advice is to worry about your club and not show up when other clubs are going through trouble. But yes, I know, misery loves company
