I agree. Actually, during the Sevilla game, there was a shot of a trainer talking to Schuster on the bench. Camera was on them for quite a few seconds and schuster, the whole time, was with his back to the trainer and did not look at him once, or even hear him out. It was a clear indication that perhaps Schuster is one of the cancers in the locker room and club. Biggest cancers go to Calderon and Mijatovic though. Those two are so inept at their jobs. They need to go soon. What we need to do is simple. lets follow Man Utd's, Arsenals, Liverpools examples. Lets find one coach who is quality and let him be....for years. Let him build, rebuild and have control of all things on the field. Look at man Utd. They go through rough patches here and there but always bounce back. Why? Cause they have a quality coach and patience.

Arsenal?? Wenger?? No, when was the last time he won anything noticable? I for am would not like the manager to have all power (ala Benitez who sings a ton of **** players). I like the idea we have right now with the sporting director sorting the team out but in order for it to be a sucess there needs to be strong managment at the top which we seem to lack. We also have too many internal issues that don't help, like why do we have Mijatovic who is supposed to get players for us but than Portugal seems to want to do the same thing so they both offer different players and it just because a big **** up. Like Saviola, he was a player Portugal wanted while Soldado was someone that Mija wanted. In the end, we got both. I don't like the manager having all power as the manager spot is not a secure spot and I don't want to be left with his players if he is either sacked or quit (seems like Schuster kind of quit? not sure but it seems like he didn't want to continue anymore). Can you imange if he got all the players he wanted? :icon_spin: That's why we need to keep the way have been doing it but we need to fix the internal ****.

Deisler, about Mija and Calderon. Well say what you want, but they are hired on a 4 year term. So far they have brough in 2 la ligas and a Supercopa in 2.5 years. So that is more than decent. Mija has brought in some good players (Higuain, Gago, Wesely, and etc) and also made some bad moves (VDV instead of Granero, Metzelder, Robben, and etc). Now, in no way am I saying they are perfect or anything like that. But I will judge it all they have done in 4 years, I don't really like Calderon and question Mijatovic at times but no one is perfect.

Perhaps I was misunderstood. I dont want coach to have all the power, oh no. Thats not good. I want a coach along with the sporting director to work together on decisions re: players. They would have to have a very amicable and respectful relationship. What I am also saying is that a coach needs to be allowed to remain at the club for a substancial amount of time. Get a coach with a proven track record and let him work. If we have one bad season, then be it. All succesful coachhes go through their slumps but rebound right back. We cant go on firing coaches every 6-8 months, its ludicrous.

I agree with you but than Schuster was the wrong man from the start. He did not like Mija and Mija did not like him, so right away that failed. Also I agree that we should not fire the coach, but really Schuster was asking (begging) for it. If he handled the situation in a different way I would have been against this decision but really I think it was the right move. He really was cutting ties with the team the way he was going about his business.

hmmm 3-0 against Zenit.. A great result, backed the team playing.. Well, like a team, and keeping the form from Sunday consistent. Our defence looked much better..

Time to prepare for Barca..

Hala Madrid!!

Much improved, but lets be fair, Zenit have been 2 weeks out of a competitive game, so it is not a great measure definetly no Barca but I like the fact that tactically we have recovered the wide play! yes! we are now aiming to use the wide areas of the pitch again, which IMO is essential in modern football, also ball recovery was quite good...

Robben had a monster game, and I dont think he has been a bad buy man, I mean the guy is so injury prone is a joke, but outside of that the lad is an amazing player when in form I say one of the top 8 wingers in the world...the last two games, against Sevilla and against Zenit he has been electric

I like Arnau when he's not being a flamer. Im open to crticism as long as it's not to start trouble. I know what we have in our team, what we need and am not afraid to admit things.

In this case I agreed that firing Schuster was the right thing. The man had negativity written all over him. His body language, responses and overall attitude are not Madrid quality...at all. Then he said it was impossible to win at Barca! Whether or not he said that as a psycholgical tactic, relieving pressure from the players, etc, I don't know.

Well, the game against Zenit was very good. A complete turn around from previous games. Some might say, well it was just Zenit....but I say, well we lost to worse teams than Zenit recently + Zenit are agood team, Uefa cup champs. Is it me or did the players' attitudes look totally different as well? I think the players see Juande as a fresh breath of air and are motivated. This could be the start of a new era I think.

Yea good game. Robben is a beaxst when healthy. He's on eof those few players that can run at people and change a game instantly. The pass to raul was awesome as well. Earlier in the season he wasnt dishing out those passes or even looking to pass. This guy is class and imo, one of the best technical players in the world with superior dominance of the ball.

What happened yesterday that Ramos gave a chance to Dudek? Is there any chance for him to play against Barca?

nope its not arrogance...if there's a better time to avenge the defeats that u handed us, its right now. But unfortunately, the KO round begins in Feb so plenty of time for you guys to pull yourselves together. That said...who doesnt wanna see Manutd vs real madrid. Mouthwatering tie.

oh it looks like slgado is gonna play left back on saturday, which means hes gonn come up against messi.:nape:

I mean come on what do u expect?! Pana is the weakest team on paper to make it thru if you could land them you would like that too,.....and then there is the fact that Pedja is an idiot and we all know that, no point arguing that

Like if others haven't said similar thing in the past, after qualifying.

On the upcoming game.. It sucks that Robben won't be able to play. Totally forgot about the red card.
