Kp STFU this is serious, people dead.

off course it's damn serious when some people are dead. But the whole thing is important because of that reason, not because Ronaldo is from that place. I hate all media's attention to this story because Ronaldo was from there. To me it's as important as any other disasters, not more not less.

anyway, I think it was better if I mentioned my point at the beginning.

I'm pretty sure if Madrid would have won CDR in basketball, they would have been in the cover page. But since Barça won it, they are not even mentioned in the cover page. lol

And Copa Del Rey in Basketball is a pretty prestigious trophy.

Campaigns?...yes I agree, they dont, but they do try to start crap up, the problem is that not as many people read El Mundo/Sport as they read AS/Marca...I hate Marca to be honest; they are as bad for Madrid as anything

FUNNY

Spanish TV station Canal + has revealed the conversation between Ronaldo and Alonso in which the former Liverpool midfielder asks his team-mate to allow him to take the penalty. The conversations as shown on Canal +:

"Cris, give it to me," says Alonso.

After no response the Spanish international continues: "because I haven't even scored one goal. Let me score one. Let me."

"The next one, I promise you," replies Ronaldo.

"No, stop. Give me this one. Come on, give me the ball," adds Alonso, before taking the ball and placing it on the spot as Ronaldo reluctantly turns away.

While the penalty was being taken Ronaldo opted to stand at the furthest edge of the penalty box and refused to celebrate with team-mates after the spot kick was converted, instead returning to his own half for the kick-off.

The scene's were reminiscent of last December's game between Real and Almeria at the Bernabeu when the Portuguese missed a penalty in the latter stages of the tie and failed to celebrate with team-mates after French striker Karim Benzema converted the rebound.

Ronaldo was later sent off in that game for a petulant kick at Juanma Ortiz.

Yes, but Marca is the most read newspaper in Spain, and they set the national tone for soccer news/controversy.

Interesting conversation there, I'm surprised Ronaldo gave in like he did tbh.

What a load of sh*t! 100% fabrication by Marca. Navas would never leave Sevilla... it took him this long to get over the anxiety of travelling without his mom. He's not going to leave his home city for any amount of money, and Florentino knows that.
