Recorded a tune!

My friend has a recording studio in his house (its only small, but still cool) and I went round there to Jam with him for a bit last night and we ended up recording a cover of the Chili's song 'Breaking the Girl'.
I'm the one who's singing and playing the guitar and he plays the bass and violin... it was too late for him to do any drumming but it still sounds ok. I sang the tune twice, once in a higher octave so both voices are mine. Take a listen!

Help?

Not bad really, pretty good. Although i could barely hear the voice, maybe try to make it a little louder, but it's pretty good i would say.

The guitar sounds good but the voice recording needs to be a lot louder and the bass drowns out some of your low vocals. The quality is real good though, great song too but what about the pots and pans bashing bit? :D

By the way, what's your friend's set-up as far as equipment? I've looking around to get some of my own recording equipment but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to recording equipment.
