guys ive already been working on both product & career ini files.

i have fixed the card issues, remember what i said, i uploaded the file earlier than i wanted so you guys didnt have to wait anymore & i also said i will add updates as i create them.

career ini was a beta, & i have reworked some of the values & have to test them myself before handing it out.

the incorrect league/teams fix is in my db, why it doesnt work for you is something i cant figure out.

we will get everything worked out eventually.

i like the gameplay, but i'm curious of something...
i've played a few be a pro matches & everytime my BAP is in a position to score a goal, FIFA11 crashed to desktop... this has happened like 4 times already...
anyone with the same problem?

did you happen to import the career.ini ?
people have been saying it has a bug & im working on it now.

if you did revert back to ea for now.

@ encore: yes, it didn't change much, though the defenders lacking in tracking is more noticeable on legendary.

Let me know when I can test something, Reg, though I won't be online till tomorrow evening.

man, i've just tried the wc mode, same crap happens, central defs are idiots

and no booking again. i performed hella awful tackles, i tore em apart and there were neither yellow nor red cards

could you please tell what you got out of your wc test?

I tried Legendary mode, its hell easy man, only one match played, Manchester derby, won 6-0 (5-0 in 1st half). It seemed easier than Ameteur mode using the same patch !!!

In fact I was constantly switching between different versions of Reg's interim testing patches, so got confused. Some interim patches wont just allow you to do that flank attack.

Surely this version is released in a haste, and I am sure Reg will release a much stronger version within today. I can say this because I have used some internal test versions which are better than this one.

I have it now im thinking also when im playing and 2 players are going to the goal and im from the left side and i want to play it to the player in front of the goal because he is free and if he wants to shoot it crashes

This sounds similar to something I've been experiencing. Every time I or the AI perform a chip-shot the game crashes. Maybe it's possible these errors are related.

I'll try a fresh install tonight, maybe that might clear it, will let you know.

I've tried reverting back & do not think the career.ini is the problem.
Initially, I thought it might be due to some of the changes I made in CM (which is still kinda buggy right now), but I've seen some others experiencing the same problems. Maybe there are parameters in the codes which needs some tweaking? Just my thoughts.
Anyway, keep up with your good work. I enjoyed playing with your gameplay patches.

Try to import cat's old product.ini file, and it works like charm.
If you don't have that one anymore, just import ea's original product file to play the game untill RC uploads the final version.

Reg, while I'm thinking of it, the standard manager mode has a bug where you sometimes play 2 games in one day (Calendar just shows one match) if you progress in most/all of the cup rounds, do you know about this? if so have you managed to fix it?

sometimes i win, lose mostly.

its never been easy for me, but spending more time editing then playing prolly makes me a better editor than player.

if all replies lead to the same type situation it will be easier for me to diagnose & fix.

Same to me, spending more time testing many versions than playing freely.

I have mailed you the version which I felt the best in terms of difficulty. It is 2 iterations before the public release.

Random crashes are "random". While playing I suddenly found myself in the desktop as if I hit Alt Tab. Faced twice in 10-12 games. Only remembered the last game when the CPU Carlos Tevez was about to deliver a cross from left flank I most probably ... forgot ... instincts may drive me to tackle, or goalkeeper activating.

I once had a crash when CPU wanted to take a quick free kick, but another player of the CPU was in the way. The ball just disappeared, and that was it. Had to close the game.

The ball disappearing act used to happen with that version which had arena mode shooting problem (screen became dark). Are you using that version?
