hello regularcat, just a quick question. I am creating a new player using dbmaster12 (old aussie player named Mark Viduka). I can create him easily enough by just adding a new line under the 'players' tab in the db, but what I can't seem to do/find is how to assign a commentary name to him. Viduka is available as a commentary name under the 'commentarynames' tab as ID '8772'. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Just create a new player with player id "8722". See what happens. That's Viduka's i.d. His mini-face will also appear. Obviously, his commentary i.d. has been set as well. That should be all. Then fill in the appropriate stats.

if there is an existing id then he will have a call name, if there is no existing id then he is out of luck.

yes it will include a modified db, its the only way to truly change the game.

So, I hope db will be based on latest EA update and will include all transfers (Del Piero, Hulk and Witsel in Zenit, Ganso in Sao Paulo, etc.) and actual formations for teams.

Hey, man. Fouls have gone down a hell of a lot in tested db and still no long range shooting.

i don't know, i am getting fouled at least 8 times a match and half of those are in an area i can whip a ball in or go directly on goal.

i don't know what you are looking for in long shots but i get a lot from the cpu when i play, i'll say around 9 or 10 from 22+ meters a match, i don't want anymore than that because it is unrealistic as no team or player consistently takes long shots of 25+ meters or more in a match.

some teams take them more than others and i get plenty of shot from the cpu with 22 meters and all around the goal.

the beauty of the fouls is that they were increased without having to insanely increase players aggression ratings to ridiculous values, the ai has a nice natural pace, fouls, excellent buildups and good defending and a lot more.

focus on the entire patch as a whole instead of only looking for long shots and 15+ fouls a match, you will get mixed results every game which is how it should be.

Ok, I get you. But I'd like 15+ fouls...When will you be on? When I first got the db everything was perfect...but then I don't know what I did. I messed up something man.

the extra test db or my original redone db ?
