Retro Patch 2008

Some of you might be knowing that I am making a big patch which will include all the world cups,Euros,leagues from different eras etc

The news is that I have completed the tough part i.e the database work from 1900-2006,I have also made many faces for legendary players.My only problem is that I need to assign these teams with kits.I am not a good kit maker and I do not have time to improve my skill in kit making either.It would be great if someone can help me with the kits.If anyone wants to contribute please contact me.

Updates and release date will be posted in this thread.

Thanks thelordspawn,I will ask him if I can use those kits.

UPDATE:This patch will include more than 700 classic teams.It will be released in the last week of June.If more people can help me then it would be finished much sooner.Just to remind You all -I have completed the database work.

Here is the list of teams apart from world cups and Euros:

1.1900-1930 [Around 30 teams]
2.1930s[Around 40 teams]
3.1940s[35 teams]
4.1950s[50 teams]
5.1960s[50 teams]
6.1970s[60 teams]
7.1980s[80 teams]
8.1990s[100+ teams]

Teams will be from top divisions of all European and south american leagues.

DaNutz-Yo,I thank you for your offer and I have sent you a PM.

@tooniesbruxelle-I will talk with lordspawn about it.It is a long time since I have seen Gigiriva here and if he is making classic patch 08 then I can help him as well because I have made many clubs from different eras apart from the serie A and champions league teams from his 07 patch.

I think it can be great if you, Gigi and the makers of NASL can combine your work.
I can help you with some kits. I learnd how to make but problems, i have not much time.

If GIGGIRIVA is back then that is great news and I can concentrate on making more faces and teams.Combining the patches will be a good idea but lets wait for GIGGIRIVA's reply.If you can make some kits,they are welcome and thanks for offering.

Thanks a lot for that slowhand,your retro kits are nothing short of great and they will be really useful.I will wait for the rest.

LOL I think they were pretty bad those days as they did not have European or south american coaches training them like they do these days.I think initially they were not all that good.:innocent_smile_1:

Your patch looks nice at the moment, but I think Germany is overrated. While playing the tournament they were more like an outsider. I also suggest the teams to be named "South Korea" and not "South Korea 54", is that possible?

And yes here you can find another editor working on classic kits. Maybe you can ask him if he wants to cooperate with you.

Thanks for the link.I think Germany was pretty strong with players like Helmut Rahn,Fritz Walter and Horst Eckel therefore they would have been really good those days and remember they defeated a Hungary team which had players like sandor kocsis,Ferenc Puskas and zoltan czibor that is why I made them 5 stars but dont worry the ratings are accurate.The reason why I made them as South korea 54,West Germany 54 was to differentiate between other teams but if you want me to change it,I can change it especially for you.
