Revolution Mod 16

Thank you!

I quickly tried crowd settings....
Size crowd works fine, but crowd lod does not make any difference for me (-4 or 4 give me same result)...

maybe because i have the lod multiplier already set to 100 in the settings.lua?

First, thanks for the comments!

I should have clarified that this mod just adds compatibility with FIFA 15 generic faces, you must copy the textures to the FIFA 16 demo yourself.

Here is a little preview of a new feature under development which I mentioned in an earlier post.

Both kit files are completely unmodded, the UEFACL sleeve patches and armband are added via an external overlay file.

While the above screenshot illustrates a simple way to add sleeve patches to any kit, ideally it would be applied to a texture without the sleeve patches drawn on.

In many cases it would avoid the need to have tournament kits as sleeve patches and armbands could be applied to the default set. This solution is ideal for those who want to use higher quality and/or larger kit textures.

Thank you man! Just one suggestion, the one that I made for 15, too: tracksuits for the fourth official. But this is so minor

Still not sure if it can be done, but I will give it another go.

I checked and it is a bug.

Does this mean for instance when you qualify for champions league the patches could be added to your kit via this overlay file? if so I guess would be good idea to remove all league badges from all kits and have those badges also in overlay file, which may mean they get auto added when promoted or relegated or qualifying for a tournament? if that's the case that's incredible :D

Also, (may not be much) but will save some time too for the kit makers adding the badges of any particular Tournament/League

I was in the process of trying to add Europa League Badges to the Teams this year, with their new badge 15/16. This would save a lot of time!

:D

Would be the same as PES right? Thats how they have it in their game. You qualify to any competition and it automatically adds the badges to the teams kit

SICK!

You finally made it! Every year of Revolution Mod you were trying to achieve that and now it's done. Amazing!

Please, help. I'm newbie in Rev Mod. I read all the documentation, but I still can not understand it. I want women's teams in the games were few spectators. What should I write and where ??
Maybe this: setTournamentCrowdSize (2136,1,1) ?
In wich place? And in wich file?

UPD. Okay, just put in general.lua, good. A bit strange to see how the flags fluttering in the empty stands. ))

@ scouser09

One thing just came in to my mind about the new overlay feature you are working on.

Will you add the possibility to add a competition overlay to a specific team, too? Because we need to add a different overlay to teams like Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona and so on with Champion badges.

Furthermore there are two different Champions League armbands, blue and yellow used with different kit colours. Any way to make that possible?

Since there is alot of interest in the kit overlay feature, I will reply in general.

The overlay file is basically a transparent shirt texture, but with only the competition specific items drawn on. The game generates a new shirt texture placing the overlay file on top of the original shirt texture.

As shown above, while you can have a global kit overlay file for a tournament, you can create variants for individual teams. In this case, Liverpool would use a version with the badge of honour for five wins in UEFACL matches. This can also be used for sleeve patch positioning. You can also apply to individual kits.

This will be useful for career mode promotions, relegations and continental tournament qualifications. For example, Football League teams promoted to the Premier League can wear Premier League sleeve patches and captain's armband in Premier League matches.

There are references to this in the lua files so it is very likely that that file will be used. My best guess it is related to a flag holding character during trophy presentations. The flag to be used is the regular team flag file. I am unable to confirm this without the full game though.

Unfortunately, I do not think I can remove those flags as the lua files do not reference the flag model.
