can you send me a fbmod for the kits then pls
I am about to release an update to the AIO, which I am doing due to issues I noticed with some kits... in it will be any kits I've made since the release of AIO 6. Do you want to wait, or do you wish for me to send an fbmod of just the home kit. I don't know if I'm going to get to the other kits immediately... precedence goes to more popular teams and those kits I really wish to make. Do you realize that creating an fbmod is as simple a thing as loading a word document and then saving it. You only have to import 3-9 files (more often 3) for a kit. It is very simple, and I just cannot imagine why anyone would rather wait for someone else to create it for them. There are a plethora of tutorials... I don't mean to be harsh on you, as you are not the only one.
This is more of a general statement about the community, and how it has changed since frosty and the fbmod system. Everyone looks at this stuff like it's a magic trick, or some sort of mysterious knowledge that are unable to obtain. There is also a sense of entitlement among some (certainly not all, as I am regularly asked politely and thanked for whatever I may have done for them); I would like for you all to see this message that finally tipped me over the edge with this particular individual. I do not intend to indicate who it was, as I am not posting it as an attack on him. It is emblematic of everything I just said:

Him: "hi man can you send me all png files for kits of world cup 2018??? such as your croatia e serbia"
"ok man if is it possible all kits from all national teams in the game"
Me: "I’m not sure that you are familiar with this process. It takes a while to do each team. How about you tell me 5 teams and we’ll go from there"
He listed them, I provided them in dds format. He was unwilling to learn to open them. 'Can you do it for me'

"Can I have texture files of kit of PL teams?
I will try to convert it for FIFA 14.

My response was not as friendly as I try to be. In less than a week he asked that I extract over 300+ textures from the game for him. This is an extreme example, but you see the problem, right? Everyone wants something but are unwilling to even learn to open the files. Next thing you know, we who want to provide for the community are going to be asked to remotely install things on a user's machine.
I just don't understand the unwillingness to learn to do literally anything in the way of modding. I didn't know how to create anything when I joined, but I learned not by saying 'will you do this for me'. I can understand not being into it enough to learn photoshop and kit making or whatever... but not being willing to learn to import already made files and clicking three times afterwards to create a mod is just perplexing. Try! You just may be more capable than you think

Anyway i hope that helping people here or there or anywhere is from your high kindness and your perfect attitude toward the others and giving everything and everyone his respect.
We are all here appreciate and respect your hard work and also thankful for you.
I hope that you didn't get anger or bored because of some people who try to get your help, maybe they can't explain as good as possible or requesting it in a good manner for you maybe because of their languages problem.

Keep up your fine work, you're one in a million at this point. Most people have quitted FIFA modding after Frostbite, and users in general don't seem to like to get their hands dirty as it used to be in previous engines. I admit that after seeing how PES modding works, it got me very deflated towards FIFA modding. You can do so much more...

I hope that the post I wrote did not come across too angrily. I was a bit frustrated when I wrote it (which is not usually a good time to express oneself), but I was more pointing out a phenomenon that is simply strange to me. I love modding and I do it for fun... I am not going to hang it up just because I get irked by someone whose candor is not ideal. Most of the folks who visit my thread are quite polite and give what is - quite frankly - undue praise for my mediocre work. I am happy to help out as many people with custom requests and the like because that is what people did for me when I first arrived at SGF. The modders here were truly talented then... as Leo_95 said, the move to the Frostbite engine and the lack of modding capabilities it wrought caused an exodus of the most talented content creators. I like to think that by accommodating requests and providing textures I might lead some new members into creating content of their own because (as I said) that is how I learned and gained interest. But the fbmods don't lead to anything but a file from which one can learn nothing. That is what I was saying in truth. I will continue to provide them, of course; however, I think it is a shame that the modding community will inevitably continue to shrink until it just sort of dies out. That is what I think is a shame. But I will keep plugging away until I no longer enjoy it. So bring on the requests while the gettin is good!!! (Just maybe don't ask me to extract hundreds of files because you don't want to search the forum ya know)

Big thanks to my pal strssn on the discord server for recoloring the Napoli shirt I made to cover all three other kits. Though we don't know for sure, it would appear that all three follow the same design pattern as the first. I think these are reasonable assumptions regarding the likely color combos:

Almost everyone just wants to get everything in the best possible way, without doing anything themselves, so that you do not learn anything.
"Learning by doing" has always helped, you just have to want it and try it...

That is why is useful for the modders to share their work in projects or give access to the textures in order for the people to have a chance at learning more.
I just can not play with a fb mod, I have all the textures from Riesscar, Andy and almost all the modders that shared them, plus some of mine (not so great) and combined them manually in a project that keeps growing each day. And that it is just possible because some people share for free.
Of course, one must be willing learn also and not just asking for a mod and then complaining that one kit has wrong collar or wrong number color. Simple matter of tweaking one teamkits table with excel or whatever other program.
For example, I can not make Andy's last update to work, so I went and took all the updated graphichs and tables and imported them in my old working patch...took ten minutes, all is working. And I do not have one million mods, just one big project.
Not to speak about career mode legacy files, like playergrowth, scout and all those. They are simple to tweak, just try and see if you like the result and so on, not a big deal, but it must be done manually to each one liking.

*Note that the GK kit for Puma has the logo a bit higher up than Adidas kits do. For that reason, I intend to edit the hotspot file to drop the badge down a bit. I could paint it directly onto the texture, but you lose the 3d stitched on effect by doing so, so I try to avoid it.
