It will update the faces as per EA's doing in the FIFA 14 game. However, FIFA 14 faces are not the same in terms of textures as FIFA 12. However, the faces from the FIFA World game will be used along with updates. These updates are identical to FIFA 14 but with textures that can be ported unto FIFA 12. Thus, you won't be missing out on anything. I will try to add some extra faces as well to the game over time.

let me try it..
when I updated relegated and promoted teams 6 months ago, I had career mode crashes as well..
then I started to think that I did something wrong.. it crashed at an exact date of august 15, I was able to make some transfers, but not a single game..
then I checked OTHER LEAGUES section on career mode.. and I saw that some leagues had teams named as "UNDEFINED" (or smt like that, it's impossible for you not to see it).. for example when I played as Deportivo, French League looked fucked up, 3 teams named UNDEFINED in the league.. German League had only one.. when I fixed them and made sure there were no UNDEFINED teams in OTHER LEAGUES on Career Mode, it worked like a charm..
so please check this and let us know..

1st - Based on FIFA 14 initial database before last years summer transfers.
2nd - Based on FIFA 14 database after summer transfers that was converted.
3rd - Based on FIFA 14 database post winter transfers converted to FIFA 12.
***BONUS***Latest FIFA 14 squad update released last weekend - with latest player ratings.
***DOUBLE BONUS*** Summer transfer updates for FIFA 14 pc...to be released according to EA next weekend...and will be converted to FIFA 12.
I will send them to you and you can check them then once it is fixed I will send you the latest FIFA 14 squad update converted to FIFA 12.
