Ruud United Exit Imminent ?

All you Man utd fans criticsing sir alex and saying he should leave have completely lost your mind. Wtf is wrong with you people? You played this entire season with absolutely no midfield and without your best defender, and you still finished second. And now you want to get rid of the manager that got you this? How can you say his time is up? You could make that arguement if you finished 5th or something, but my word, YOU FINISHED SECOND!

You only have to think back to last summer when the Glazers took over Man U. All you fans were like, "Oh man, I hope he doesn't get rid of Fergie!" And now, after an even better season than last year, you yourselves want him to go.

Jeez, not sure what kind of fans you condsider yourselves. Please, go ahead and sell him and see what happens. You'll be doing everyone else in the Premiership a favor, especially whatever club snaps up his services.

Help?

Some people think that United can get a big amount of money for Ruud, but i really really doubt it. When a player wants to leave the club and the club doesn't want him, then the offer will not be too high.

i wonder when will rooney get the same treatment by fergie... no players can cross fergie's path... as already been mentioned earlier in this thread... stam, yorke, beck and now ruud seem imminent to go in the summer...

Fergie = Ferret

Who does this guy think he is. Camon Ruud stick to United and do well to shut him up.

Being a Man Utd fan, I would be sad to see Ruud go. However, when you have a strike force that includes Ruud, Saha, Rooney, Rossi, Solskjaer, if your form dips, you have to expect to be dropped. I mean, missing a penalty against a RESERVE 'keeper? I'd drop myself from the team if I did that.

what kind of a dumb logic is that... Thats his first penalty miss of the season FFS. Hes human and reserve keepers are inferior?? Ruud did not get pissed off for being dropped there is surely something more that happened. Anyway Fergie told Ruud didnt complain at all when he was dropped for the matches after the carling cup final.

If any of you think that it's okay how Fergie treated Stam, Keane, Beckham etc., because he "knows his stuff", brought us glory in the past and is in charge of the club, then man, you must be one biased puppet. I know that none of the incidents with the players I mentioned before nor whats going on with Ruud now aren't only Fergies fault, the players are to blame as well, but for ****s sake, do we really need to get rid of the players that have done their best for the club this way, just because the man in charge has an ego bigger than the club itself? I don't think so. Maybe there were good reasons for all of those players to be kicked out, we don't know that but I'd expect a more professional behavior from the manager as well, not only from the players.

from a (somewhat) neutral perspective, that is how i also see it. i dont understand why all these players who have played so well for manutd must leave on a sour note because of fergie. it really is a dissapointment

I read that Van Nistelrooy could go to either Tottenham Hotspur or PSV. AC Milan could be in when they should sell Schevchenko, he would cost 8m pounds. I think it's possible he will return to PSV, he's expecting a child, and recently he and his wife said they want to raise him/her (I dont know) in the Netherlands. Still, I think he won't come to PSV, not yet...

No he's still to young to return, I think still many big clubs want him. When he's 34 or something he'll be PSV's.

1. ruud was in the wrong to leave. you're not only putting yourself above the club, but you're selling out the fans and your teammates. it's wrong.

he's a legend and will be remembered as a legend at man.utd, but your stature does not give you a right to do what he did. personally, i think him leaving will be good for himself and the club.

2. SAF is the manager and has a right to choose whomever he thinks is best for the team or the match...but not when he's got a vendetta or a childish plot against a player. is that what happened? we dunno for sure. but you have to start wondering...it is starting to become a common occurance now.

i remember someone posting on this board about SAF, and how beckham (i think that's who said it) beasically says that SAF is terrific with nurturing and helping young men become men...but once they become men and he realized that he doesn't have the same influence, it becomes difficult for them.

i'm starting to agree with that.

Yes and No - if you replace the red "Them" with Ferguson - then it is what Becks said.

The worst thing about SAF is the fact that he seems to be completely unwilling to forgive or forget, making it impossible to solve any problems without a major row. They're all grown men, for christ's sake. Authority is an important thing, but those who really got it are able to make things work without kicking anybody straight out of the door. I for one am really scared of the future if these kind of departures continue to occur on a regular basis. What if Rooney happens to have a row with the gaffer? Or Ronaldo for that matter? Where will the line be drawn?

Heard a few rumours myself that Glasgow Rangers are very interested in Ruud.

Wherever he goes one things for sure the Club that gets him are pretty much guaranteed 20 Goals a Season.

Gonna be a valuable addition where ever he ends up.

If he leaves, then this can only be a good thing. We play so much better without him in the side, it showed when he was injured throughout 2004/05 and during this season when Saha kept him out of the side. When van Nistelrooy does play, everytime we're so bland, predictable and slow, his body language is shit, he is lazy. Ferguson is still a cunt though. Cunt. All we need to do now is take the armband off of Neville, give it to a proper leader, buy a couple of midfielders who can dictate play, score and create alot of goals, and we're going somewhere.

ya right, and then give the captain's armband to whom? giggs? he hasn't proved a good captain.
why not rossi then? :nape:

Manchester United has played fantastic football this season and have lost 5 and SO HAVE CHELSEA
there have been many games in which ruud's solitary goal has given us the win.
it is just that chelsea are playing football of another level.
ruud has scored 21 goals for united this season.
if thats not a contribution , then should he strip himself and play football and score 50+ goals or something more spectacular to prove his worth?
the guy is a goal machine. had been not regularly left out the squad, he would have easily got 25+goals.
he scored against pompey away and then came the FA CUP match with scum where we lost.
since that day fergie has blamed ruud for his performances and left him out.

Ruud is irreplacable. if we've got a wonderkid in rooney, we also need experience of Ruud.
if he's gone, i bet we're screwed in next season's champion's league.

not playing a top player for the last match of the season and keeping an 18 year old chap instead of him is more than an insult.

true that ruud should not have left the stadium, but the situation has been driven way over by fergie.
the gaffer is now acting like a c*nt and has continued his f*cked up ways of kicking out and bringing and end to legendary man utd players terms in the most sh*t mannewr.

Staam, Becks, Keano, Yorke and now Ruud.

Screw ya Fergie. :kader:

whatever happens ruud will be the most prolific united striker of this modern united age. the guy should have been allowed to score his 150th goal.

my 2 cents on the whole thing are somethings obviously gone on whether it be fergie or ruuds fault i dunno, im inclinded to say its ruuds fault due to the lack of comment from him and fergie already saying ruud was dropped due bringing some sort of disharmony to the team spirit, which suggests its not fergies fault.

but that still does not excuse ruud's unproffesional manner in handling of things. youve been able to see from his body language and commitment when he has been playing that he hasnt been up to it. ruud is still a dick for behaving like a 2 year old throwing a temper tantrum cos hes been dropped for a few games.

as for fergie we all know hes got a temper, but again if the teams not performing he's the one who is going to get it in the neck. im 100% behind fergie and the players he has culled from the team, well the more high profile ones have all left for one reason or another most of which imo fergie wasnt responsible for.

stam - should have known that writting a book in which you question the managers actions and that of your team mates is gonna land you in bother, if stam wanted to say those things he should have waited till he retired

beckham - was clearly becoming too mucha pop star than a footballer as evidenced in his last few seasons for us where his level of play was unacceptable, highlighted in the fact that when solskjaer was played on the right his stats were better

keane - again if your gonna rip into team mates do it in private and not by medium of tv, also it was obvious keane was becoming less and less of a force in midfield and i feel his outburst helped us as it pushed forward his leaving and caused fergie to adress the problems we have in midfeild, ok not been fully addressed but hey 1 trophy and second place without any recognised centre midfielder aint half bad
