All you Man utd fans criticsing sir alex and saying he should leave have completely lost your mind. Wtf is wrong with you people? You played this entire season with absolutely no midfield and without your best defender, and you still finished second. And now you want to get rid of the manager that got you this? How can you say his time is up? You could make that arguement if you finished 5th or something, but my word, YOU FINISHED SECOND!

You only have to think back to last summer when the Glazers took over Man U. All you fans were like, "Oh man, I hope he doesn't get rid of Fergie!" And now, after an even better season than last year, you yourselves want him to go.

Jeez, not sure what kind of fans you condsider yourselves. Please, go ahead and sell him and see what happens. You'll be doing everyone else in the Premiership a favor, especially whatever club snaps up his services.

Ferguson is undoubtebly the one reason why Manchester United is hundreds of millions of pounds in debt. He was the one that convinced his friends from Ireland to buy shares in the club, and then he pissed them off over a fucking horse, a horse for fuck sake, and now look at the consequences of that. As for this topic, van Nistelrooy is about as loyal as Rio Ferdinand.

Hmmm.. now I'm hearing on Dutch TV, from a reporter who got it straight from RVN's camp, Ferguson wants to sell him this summer to still get a big amount for him for other players and already offered him to Real Madrid and Juventus. His contract has 2 years left, and now would be the perfect time to sell him. However, RVN doesnt want to leave, and now Ferguson is trying to force him out of the club. Dirty games...

Reputation and stature can't hold down a spot forever. Ruud has been outplayed by Saha, and Rossi is one for the future. If it was someone like Peter Crouch that this is happening to, it would be ok. But for someone as big as RVN, it's impossible to keep him on the bench. So it's probably time for Ruud to move on and maybe try places like Spain and Italy, that seems to be the best solution for now...

Hardly. Its football for gods sake. You are bought, your then the possesion of the football club you play for. They can do what they please with you.

I think Van Nistelrooy is in the wrong here. Once again hes throwing his toys out of the pramp. As someone else said, hes trying to make himself bigger than the club

Yeah yeah, I know this is how it goes... but it's still dirty to be in his position. When Ferguson offered him to other teams, RVN knew nothing about it. It must be pretty harsh finding out you're being offered to other teams, especially when you're the clubs topscorer over the last couple of years. I also dont think hes an arrogant guy, and wants to make himself bigger then the club. He's a VERY ambitious guy, and wanted to prove his worth to Man Utd and serve those 2 years left on his contract. But I think its over now anyway. If he has some pride he'll leave and close this chapter.

Talking about dirty games, but it's even worse than this:
The son of Ferguson handles the transfer-business for Man Utd and the family Ferguson can get big provision from a huge transfer like Ruud's.
That way Ferguson also made some money from chasing away Jaap Stam.
So Alex Ferguson plays a really dirty game overhere.

Van Nistelrooy flies home as United attach £10m price tag

Not everyone at Manchester United agrees with Sir Alex Ferguson that the club would be better off without Ruud van Nistelrooy but nobody will stand in the manager's way as he prepares to add the Dutch striker to the long list of players he has spectacularly disposed of. Ferguson spoke at length with his chief executive David Gill yesterday and the outcome is that Van Nistelrooy is available to the highest bidder, valued in the region of £10m

* Second I think Sir Alex Ferguson should quit at United too... he has done so much for the club, but there's also a time to go.
United has to move on also, new coach, a totally new face.
United doesn't play that good anymore like in the end '99, 2000 , 2001 where the playstyle was famous from manchester.
83 points in 38 games, 1 less than we had in title winning 92/93 season and equal to or more points than we had in 96/97, 98/99, 00/01 and 02/03 title winning seasons, so............. nah

As for Ruud, we will probably never know what actually made all this situation happen and what went behind the scenes. All we are doing is guessing. Afterall you could also argue that:
Stam was sold because of what he wrote in his book
Yorke just wasn't up to standards anymore, don't even know why some people mentioned him
Beckham was focusing more and more on his lifestyle than the pitch and with crazy english media, it's really easy to do when you are the only famous icon around, unlike in Madrid where media is not that extreme and there are lots of famous players like him.
Keane really was past it for United standards and he was speaking about what really was going behind the scenes at the club too much. If anybody doesn't know, Fergie very rarely talks about private club things. Like he will always protect his players in the media, but attack them and bash them one on one, never to the press.

I am not saying that Fergie dealt with things in a right way, but if he decided to get rid of the player, why should he really care that much about how he will get rid of him, since he is gone anyways? Ferguson's worry is the club and the players that are staying. Personally i don't care about how the players leave the club. This is professionals of the highest class we are talking about, their services are wanted all over the world, it's not like their careers were ruined after getting kicked out from the club. Stam and Beckham are doing just fine in Milan and Madrid, while Yorkie and Keane were approaching the closing stages of their careers anyways and i really don't think that these two were kicked out. Both of them are still on good terms with the manager, at least Yorkie is for sure. What i do care about is for United to produce results and as everyone can see, they have produced and i am 100% sure that they will produce without Ruud as well.

Well thats a good argument for Fergie.

I got few against him :)
Droping out of the group stage of CL, using 451 for the most of the season, disrespecting the fans and the players, supporting the Glazer take-over, thinking that we have good enough players to replace Keane, putting himself above the club, incompetence in the transfer market, unable to forget and forgive...

Find it absoloutely amazing that one minute these players are like Gods not only to the Fans but the Manager too and then a couple of years down the line theyre basicly thrown out the backdoor like a sack of rubbish.

Beckham , Keane , Van Nistleroy all helped in getting Utd where they are today and to be honest since theyve gone the Team doesn't look anything close to being the force of old that won the Treble.

I really do think its time for Chewing Gum Addict Fergy to go before any more dammage is done.

what damage we've had the best season we've had since we won the league, ok we didnt win it but what can you do about chelseas daft money making them pretty much unbeatable. i mean we've got a higher points count in the league for years plus we wona trophy, ok its not the ones we were after but hey at least we won something more than some teams can say.

frankly anyone who thinks fergie should go is stupid, ok we all know at times he can be a bit weird with players and team selections but considering how we turned round the awful start we had this year is testament to fergies managerial skills.

while im not gonna deny that ruuds goals this year have helped alot we have become less of the one man team we were when he was in his proime scoring pretty much all the goals, now we have a wide selection of goal scorers and the team is looking really comfortable together, with the addition of a midfielder or 2 next season we will be pushing on further from this season and hopefully mounting a more sustained challenge on the league

Well...i think that both of them r at fault. Fergie shud not have benched his main striker who is a topgoal scorer for fcukin sake in a cup final...ok not a big cup final but still....the guy atleast deserved a place after we were sure of winning..SAF didnt even bring him as a sub. Yes saha was gr8 but the point is that SAF wanted to get him out so started this mind games....(benchin someone to imply they shud rise up a level doesnt always work imo).... believe that ruud backin keane was the startin point and the way SAF deals with that is just sick....and what do u think rvn shud have done? Say thanks for benching me the last games & here i am to warm the bench again? He shud not have left but the guy was furious imo...his last season was injury plagued and he gives u 23 goals without even a fcukin midfield this season...he doesnt deserve this.

If he does leave...i think he should go to Barca (though highley unlikely)...madrid and milan will be gr8 too....PSV will be when gets 33-4 or somehthin

totally agree.... fergie gave a run out to evra...richie and vidic but left the the top marksman on the bench. That was the turning point.

anyway by tomorrow we should know the verdict

Some more info on the Ruud-Fergie Row

In January there was a row in training between Ronaldo/Ruud and they can't stand each other since then. Last Sunday Ruud was left out of the Team - and he walks out. The reason being another in todays press made puplic Ruud/Ronaldo row in Training the day before.

Ronaldo held onto the ball too long in training, and Ruud asked him, why he keeps the ball and doesn't pass it to him since he's the striker and in position. Ronaldo gave Ruud some lip and it again ended in a fight in which Ruud said "Yeah, yeah, go running to your DaddyS" - meaning Carlos Quierozzzzzzzz and Fergie because he feels Ronaldo gets special treatment from them.
Some other Teammates think alike, but on Saturday not all did agree with him.

That's what Fergie spoke of after the game on Sunday Ruud letting down "team unity" at the club.

He's not supposed to be a prima-donna, and have that kind of attitude. But you simply dont sell your most prolific goalscorer like that. Just look at Ruud's record. Saha is on good form, but form vanishes.

Okay.. this is second hand, but if it's true then Ruud is one of the biggest c*nts in the world. Ronaldo's dad passed away only last year, didn't he?

There was a training match and Quieroz was reffing, and gave Ronaldo a free kick against RvN

Ruud apparently gets up and goes "no suprises there, giving your son a free kick"

Ronaldo responds saying that it was a foul, and RvN says, "go tell that to your dad"

This is where things got serious, as Ronaldo is instantly riled - as he tells Ruud; "my dad is dead"

Ruud amazingly counters with; "No he's not, Carlos [Quieroz] is your dad"

All hell breaks loose as Ronaldo goes mad and goes for Ruud. The players separate them but a distraught Ronaldo leaves the training session in tears.

Take it as you will, but this was off a United forum and Arseblog picked it up.
