Scoring on Breakaways...?

I play FIFA 09 on X360 on World Class difficulty.. is it just me or is it ridiculously hard to score on a breakaway?? It seems like chipping the goalie is the 'easiest' way to score, and that doesn't work all the time... i also constantly seem to hit the post (or if i chip i usually hit the crossbar).. the other times where i try to shoot it, the goalie comes out and blocks it, just about everytime..

Any tips? Because I seem to get 2 or 3 breakaways a game and seem to never score on them, its frustrating.

I have the same exact problem, only I play on professional. And when I try to change direction slightly my player always makes a hard cut and gets the ball taken.
