St Midden are possibly the most despicable club in Britain. I hope they are non-existent in the near future.

Oh good, another deluded Hearts fan.

I hope we parade Albert Kidd when you visit us in a fortnight and have our infamous tannoy man announce "You blew it yourselves". Maybe then it would finally get through your thick skulls.

Mind you, as most of you still believe Mad Vlad is a nice man with Hearts best interests at Heart, I'm not too hopeful.

Ever notice that complete idiots use the "you're deluded" phrase without actually knowing what the hell it means? The above post is a good example.

1. What am I deluded about?

2. What's Albert Kidd got to do with St Midden? Are you mentioning him because you have never done f**k all in football to (especially that could be used against Hearts) actually allow you to take the piss out of opposing fans?
Seriously, what has that sh#t team of yours ever acheived?

Asking a feckin St Midden fan for advice on Football makes about as much sense as asking a two year old Polish kid about Macro Economics.

You're deluded because you seem to be another of the countless Hearts fans who seems to think we're responsible for what happened in 1986. We're not. You blew it yourself when Albert Kidd scored twice. Even the Hearts players of the time accept this. Perhaps if we paraded Kidd at Love Street on the 2nd you'd finally realise this. Doubt it though.

If that's not the reason for you calling us a despicable club, could you please tell me what is as I'd love to hear it.

You've no right to tell anyone who they can or cannot slag considering Hearts are the laughing stock of Scottish football at the moment. I'd stay quite about that Polish kid or else Vlad will make him your next manager.

We've done quite a lot of note in football, such as sacking Alex Ferguson and managing to be knocked out of the UEFA Cup despite being a goal up with two minutes left and having a clear away goal advantage. But it's usually not a good idea to talk about them (H)

We also beat you the last time you at Tynecastle, so for the next ten days or so we still have the bragging rights :p

hands up if u still arent 100% sure just what the hell the link between albert kidd, 1986, hearts AND st mirren is??

dont think any hearts fans hate st mirren for that, because nobody has a clue what you're on about :|

You'd be surprised. Anyway, allow me to explain.

On the last day of the 1985/86 season, Hearts played Dundee at Dens Park and Celtic came to Love Street. For Celtic to win the league, they needed to beat us by about three or four and hoped Hearts lost.

Celtic hammered us five or six nil (can't remember which), but it was still 0-0 at Dens with about 15 minutes left. The aforementioned Albert Kidd then scored twice, thus handing the title to Celtic.

Since then, the majority of Hearts fans have blamed St. Mirren for the defeat and claimed we lay down to Celtic, despite having an on loan Rangers keeper in goals and a former Rangers player as manager.

When a Hearts fan calls St. Mirren a despicable club, I think it's fairly safe to assume that their resentment all stems from that. If that's not the reason we're despicable, I apologise and await an alternative reason :)

Let's not forget players JOINING IN with Celtic's lap of honour. I do agree we should have done our own job first and foremost, we totally underestimated Dundee who were playing for a European place that game.

St Mirren though, I think your motives are pretty clear to this day. Of course, you were forced into playing your under 11s.

Anyway, it appears Ivo has gotten over his nasty bout of Gonorrhea (H)

I can't be arsed going up to Inverness tomorrow. I'll probably lost a couple of fingers.

Does the under 11s not include the aforementioned player who allegedly joined in the lap of honour :p

Anyway, we all have our own silly conspiracies. Mine includes Alan Main and rat face Hartley.

What did happen with Hartley btw?

Speaking of which, you should be hoping he plays next week. He's been garbage all season and you'll dominate the midfield if he does. Just like last time. :(

The Hartley thing stems back to the mid 90s when we were cruising against Hamilton and he dived past one of our players. The player was sent off and we ended up drawing.

Over the years he always seems to score against us (even for Morton) and the last time we were in the SPL he helped get us relegated when St. Johnstone were playing Dundee United. 2-0 to the Fake Saints at half time, he gets sent off at the start of the second half and it finishes 3-2 to United.

Of course, Alan Main effectively throwing three goals inm when he'd said a few days earlier it would break his heart to see United go down is also part of the story. As I said, we all have our silly conspiracies ;)

Looking forward to next weekend's game, think we'll lose though. Just hope you win at a weekend as we're very good at helping teams end winless runs. Good god, we're the only side to lose to Brewster in the league this season!

"You're deluded because you seem to be another of the countless Hearts fans who seems to think we're responsible for what happened in 1986. We're not."

Not at all. I spend more time thinking about my last fart than about a team like St Midden. I happen to think your fans are disgusting neds and your team are a joke. Nothing to do with 1986.

"You blew it yourself when Albert Kidd scored twice. Even the Hearts players of the time accept this. Perhaps if we paraded Kidd at Love Street on the 2nd you'd finally realise this. Doubt it though."

Again I don't see where you wee teamers get the idea that jambos are preocupied with that day. As a kid during that time I have nothing but brilliant memories. Travelling to places like Celtic Park and Ibrox and being favourites. Winning there more often than not and bragging to my mates on Monday at school. The end of season was tough, but that's fitba. You will never experience an ounce of the success we have had. Hearts have given me more than enough happy memories in my life to bother worrying about something 20 years ago.

"If that's not the reason for you calling us a despicable club, could you please tell me what is as I'd love to hear it."

See above.

"You've no right to tell anyone who they can or cannot slag considering Hearts are the laughing stock of Scottish football at the moment. I'd stay quite about that Polish kid or else Vlad will make him your next manager."

Yes I can. Until you support a team that isnt third rate, you have no right to take the piss out of anyone. :ewan:

Er that's not a conspiracy. That's St Midden being their normal sh1te. :jambo:

By lonely prison wall, I heard a young girl calling
Michael they are taking you away
For you stole Trevaillians corn
So your young might see the morn
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry
Chorus:
Lo lie the Fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly
Our love was on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry
By lonely prison wall I heard a young man calling
Nothing matters Mary when you're free
Against the famine and the crown
I rebelled, they cut me down
Now you must raise our child with dignity.
Chorus
By lonely harbour wall, she watched the last hour falling
As the prison-ship sailed out against the sky
But she'll live and hope and pray
For a prison ship lies waiting in the Bay
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry
Chorus

OK, so that's the joke, third rate team that your side lost to in September?

And, having spent four years living in Edinburgh and had a glance at the BBC forums at the start of the season, I know full well just how much hatred Hearts fans have for us based on 1986. Surely it's also a bit unfair to single our fans out for being neds when you see the type of folk who go to see the Bigot Brothers every week?
