Does anyone know if there will be cutscenes showing the subs made, or atleast a sign with names of the players coming on/off?

This huge bug from FIFA2005 must be fixed!

Ok, maybe that. But it´s like a huge bug I think. But maybe no one knows that much about this new game yet?

The new Indirect Free kick process is as follows: - Step 1 - When a Free Kick is awarded in the attacking third of the pitch, a menu will appear during the ball placement NIS. Choice 1 is a direct free kick (i.e. a shot on goal). Choices 2, 3 and 4 are plays/formations for taking an Indirect Free Kick. Each play will place your attacking players in a different position/formation inside the penalty area (same functionality as corner kicks).
- Step 2 - Adjust the direction of the kick with the on-screen arrow using the left analog stick.
- Step 3 - Press and release (using the power meter) one of the three buttons to take the Indirect Free kick.

Pressing the X button will result in a short free kick. The ball will be passed along the ground to the closest team-mate.

Pressing the Circle button will result in a driven free kick. The ball will have a flatter, lower, faster trajectory.

Pressing the Square button will result in a curl free kick. The ball will have a higher, slower and curled trajectory.

I also found this on the official site. It explains the changes that they've made. To me, it sounds like they are taking the things from PES/WE that people like and putting it into their games. Obviously it won't feel like PES/WE, but some of the features, such as advantage, indication of stoppage time, etc, are included in this game. I'm also glad to see that they've eliminated the gap in between the midfielders and the defenders, as well as adding AI substitutions/tactics, and finally, the goal keeper won't punch the ball out for a corner everytime you take a long shot. Hopefully all of the things they mention actually apply well to the game.

Gameplay
Check out the new gameplay features in UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE™ 2004 – 2005. They are as follows:

FORMATIONS
- Closing of midfield gap
- Team-mates provide more support via runs and movement
- Intelligent player logic to avoid getting caught offside close to the goal and in unrealistic situations
- Defenders will try to play further up the field (also helping to reduce midfield gap)
- More automatic player runs
- Additional players in the penalty area for crosses
- More variety in player position for attackers (formation offset)

DRIBBLING RESPONSIVENESS
- Sharper/cleaner turns at jog speeds
- More responsive 90 degree turns
- Improved control at sprint speeds.

CROSSING
- More crossing assistance
- Ability to cut the ball back to the edge of the penalty area when crossing from the by-line.
- Variable targeting and trajectories on crosses.
- More players in the penalty area on crosses
- Double tap low crosses have more variety in height, pace and trajectory

GOALKEEPERS
- The keeper has better control over deflections
- Improved keeper charge decision making
- More variety in keeper save animations

CPU TACTICS
A lot of work has gone into the tactics that the CPU teams employ in the 2nd half of a match in UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TM 2004 - 2005. - Substitutions
- End of Match if winning
- End of Match if losing

SET PIECES
The set piece system for UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE™ 2004 – 2005 delivers the following:

- Call a corner kick set play
- Control the delivery (location and power) of the set piece
- A short set piece option at all times
- Realistic Ball Physics
- Re-use of the shot meter functionality (press and release)

RULES AND REGULATIONS
All new rules and regulations have been added to UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE™ 2004 – 2005. They are as follows:

BAD REFEREE DECISIONS
The potential for bad referee decisions has been added. This feature adds unpredictability and drama to a match, which therefore adds more excitement for the player. Additionally it adds character to the referees as they are now susceptible to “human” mistakes.

HANDBALL
The referee now has the ability to call a handball.
- A replay and commentary will be triggered to support this.

ADVANTAGE
- The referee will call an advantage if the fouled team has an attacking advantage.
- An advantage icon will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen if an advantage is played.
- If after a few seconds, it is deemed that the team does not have a sufficient attacking advantage, the foul will be called and a free kick will be awarded.
- Commentary will be triggered to support this.

INJURY TIME
The referee will now indicate the amount of injury time to be played at the end of a half.
- The injury time will appear as an icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.
- The referee can call 1, 2, 3 and 4 minute injury time.
- Commentary will be triggered to support this.

Hmmm....

If that happen, don't touch it. Why give negative comment on a game that has not been released yet? Not everyone is satisfied with the other game either.
