Hello everyone and happy New Year! Friends, I have a certain problem and I think I will find a solution here. I am currently studying the Blender program, and I am new to this process.
I'm trying to load the face of a certain football player into a blender and this notification comes out (screenshot below) tell the knowledgeable how to solve this problem, thank you! View attachment 83365
Can you share where you have installed the blender?
The issue above says it couldn't find hair_coeff.dds in fifa_tools dir. And have you added the required texture files in the import slot and also clicked import materials?
If needed more assistance: Reply here or DM me on discord (Death GOD 7#2255)

yes, I do everything as in the Blender video tutorials that I found on the forum and on YouTube. I have a Blender version 2.71, downloaded from VK maybe it has such bugs?

Did you check the create materials when loading rx3? And then click assign materials. And also if the blender is in C drive, it can't write the texture dds file.
thanks for the advice, I didn't know that the program needed to be stored outside of disk C. I'll try to move it to disk D and download it again and write here
I moved the program to disk D and now , when downloading files , the person gives this ...
I do not know what to do anymore, probably I am not given to study the Blender and make faces, lol )))

Well, the portable one is not installed at the system level so it can't create files in C: drive without permission. Besides blender never runs as admin by default.
It's about exploiting tools. I mean for FIFA 20, 19, 18, nobody cares if you do this with Frosty Editor, but for 21, 22, there are people that doesn't want to this being a thing, because they will start to panic that people will start stealing their faces which they sell for 10 $.
Any attempts to hack .fifamod format from FET will be patched and modders asked to rewrite the mods.

Of course it should be able to reverse that process. The thing you propose is called "reverse engineering". The thing is, as I read on ZenHax forum, that .fbmod (so .fifamod files probably as well) format is difficult to make a single tool that would work for all of them.
And for the last thing, well...EA sells you a game, even for 60 dollars, but you get around 40 leagues, thousands teams and gamefaces. Some of these mod creators urge 10 $ for every single model. Multiply it by 6.

Well, if they have made a custom archive with their own file structure and encryption then you need to analyze them and decrypt them and find the mesh object.
If it's just a simple archive with encryption then you need to find the correct key to decrypt their .fbarchive (frosty) and FET archive (dunno name as I haven't used it) and find the correct mesh (fbx) file.
On top of that, it's best to leave it as it is. Reverse engineering other programs or even modifying them is taken as a crime.

Yes, it's a doable but not that easy or a 1-week task as Skoczek said.
And yes they charge hefty money for the mods as it's hard to make like faces or boots. But they also don't share their method to maintain a monopoly on that area and keep earning.
Well, they can charge money and hide it behind a paywall but it's for their hard work. So really can't complain about charges and can't complain they even charged as only a few people make or know how to do it.

It's not just about money, i tried to pay for the FBX files and they didn't want to sell me, but they forget that they use players' images without their and EA's permission.
What they do is also considered a crime.
Thief who steals thief has 100 years of pardon.
Another thing, the tool to create faces in FIFA 22 was given for free, I remember people's despair when it was not possible to create faces in FIFA 17, this is ingratitude to the community.
Btw. Can I ask for a (probably easy to add) new feature? Just to be able to import head, hair and hairlod model at the same time? You could just copy head model import code and rename it as hairlod.

hair and hairlod are different files, right? If it's mesh then it can be easily added with just a few adjustments.
Up to now, I didn't have to change any hairlod as it works fine using FIFA NS Switch RX3.

I mean, you can import head model and hair model at the same time. But to import hairlod model, now you need to change file location and import once again.

Exporting is in alpha :
Exporting is not perfect and it is in the early alpha stage. Currently, you can't export any models/meshes that have bones in it (eg: head, shoes, body, etc). For other boneless meshes like balls and trophies..it is possible to export but there is a known bug in the exporter.
Known Bugs:
1. The mesh is glowy
2. The mesh has some vertex color/mesh normals, binormals, and tangent issues so there might be some blackspot in mesh or some unexpected white holes.
3. New vertex is added but the face seems to not appear.
4. Exporting previously exported files again will cause UV Errors.
Fig 1 : 1st try (cols were messed badly)
Fig 2: Some update with cols handling but the result is not perfect (has bugs like mentioned above)
Closed beta tester announcement :
I have selected 3 people as said here
The selected few are:
cannot disclose in public
(will contact you guys personally)
I will dm you in discord for confirmation before sending the addon file (approx. 1day or less). Also, it is best to not share these files with others even if they are your friends or team members. They will get access when it goes into public beta.
Next to-do list :
1. Make loading/importing hairlod as separately
2. Store all loaded mesh in the list (for exporting multiple mesh-like heads or hair)
3. Try to solve uvs issue and cols plus mesh faces disappearing issue
4. And add mesh with bones exporting if got the free time.
As always wash your hands, stay safe, stay healthy.
