Hello all, I have been working on a total conversion of the FIFA 11 DB to FIFA 16. But I need help fixing a bug that causes career mode to crash before even starting. All other game modes work perfect. I've tried many things to fix it but to no avail.

The reason of this patch is to make it easier for conversion into earlier years since much of the players from the early 2000's still appeared on FIFA 11. Therefore converting the DB would be significantly easier into something like 2006, or 2009 season (my personal favorites).

I have achieved great progress both on the DB side and converting the assets from FIFA 11, and can gladly say everything has been converted and the game is playable, including squads with accurate ratings, national teams, tournaments, missing leagues, correct kits, and much more.

If anyone is interested in helping out I can share the patch beta here as well as the DB

Note: Brazilian and Czech Republic Leagues have been added to the game as they were missing from FIFA 16. This patch includes EA faces and uses Revolution Mod for special assignments.

TO DO:

DB
1. Fix Career Mode Bug (it crashes on first load and European Competition draw is missing teams)
2. Include Brazilian League (Liga do Brasil) into the Copa Latinoamericana draw (for realistic purposes)
3. Add Copa do Brazil
4. Update if possible the squads for Argentina, Colombia and Chile to 2010/2011 season (these leagues weren't included in FIFA 11 therefore no squad files are available to convert)
5. Update tournament names i. e. Champions Cup -> Champions League

ASSETS
1. Fix black faces from FIFA 14 conversion
2. Fix shoe assignment so that only shoes from 2011 and the past appear in the game.
3. Add Champions League and Europa League adboards, scoreboards, referee kits, ball and anthem.
4. Add missing faces not found in FIFA 14.
5. Export all minikits (so far haven't found a way to batch export)
6. Export all miniheads and convert to dds from (https://www.futhead.com/11/players/?display=table&page=1)
7. Fix Inter kit with real kitnumbers and font

there was no DLC files on fifa 11 mate, the tournaments were stored on the db itself. DLC appeared only with fifa 12.

so I guess he need to take fifa 16 dlc files and modify everything...

I have connected @Robson Mambrini, maybe he or one of his team members form FIFA Friends patch could help to create some DLC files.

I tried the DLC files from this patch and it seems that it crashes on the loading screen of career mode.

Gameplay is vanilla FIFA 16, but with original FIFA 11 ratings for all players.

I believed that certain values of the players with the new DB were going to influence the AI game

It definitely feels a lot faster for me, given that FIFA 11 was a pretty fast paced game.

@Robson Mambrini hey thanks for reaching out man! The issue in career mode is that after selecting the team, the game crashes on career loading screen probably because of a missing schedule or schedule conflict. I added 2 leagues that didn't exist previously in FIFA 16 (Liga do Brasil and Copa do Brasil and Česká Liga), I did solely through Creation Master 16, I have not edited any DLC settings and my suspicion is that must be the root of the issue. I would greatly appreciate if you can take a look.

I am now trying to modify the DLC files also to reset the starting year to 2011, however it seems the files are compressed and I am unaware of how to decompress those types of files.

I am now able to edit the files with CG File Explorer 16 so progress is being made. Career Mode now works except for teams that participate in Champions League, there is a problem with the draw rules I believe.

Wow thats a great and huge progress man, hopefully we can fix that !

Unfortunately I have reached a dead end trying to solve the bug in career mode, so far I have only been able to start career mode in Brazil and played a couple games, even in Libertadores but career mode continues to crash for European clubs and also MLS Clubs.

Hopefully someone can help, the patch is looking great and it would be wonderful to be able to play career mode.

Why do you edit Files from fifa 16 with CM Master 11? there might be the problem. The MLS is hard coded into the game. any changes for the structure caused me a crash
