Sending files on MSN Messenger?

Hey all, I have the problem of being able to receive but not send files. I am using a Netgear router and have opened the MSN ports 6891-6900 (no hacking now please!) and still to no avail. However I'm not sure of the HTTP proxy I'm meant to put in, whether it is the routers IP, my IP or my IP on the network.

Can anyone suggest anything?
