Yeah, I've just noticed it even more lately. Luckily some of the values I'm working on got it to where it was less speedy - and more build up. This is without using any CL.ini or attrib edits. I'll keep you all posted.

i also noticed with the line settings the lines are similar to real life but almost doesn't work for support when a player is in need of it.

the game is simply meant to be played as a non stop counter attack.

Yup.Matt is redoing some of the sliders and im waiting for them to get the ini file redone.
Found out that old fifa 11 codes work wonders in fifa 14.I got more fouls and a better ball physics but there is no way of getting rid of the lob passes insanity that legendary and this sliders bring to the table :P
Ill have it done this weekend.

Changes:

GK Ability 46/46
Marking 48/48
Run Freq 1/1

Dropping marking down from 90 to 48 will create more fouls, and also create a more balanced pace. 90 was working but not enough fouls - and often times over-covering the zones versus the obvious player in front of the defender. Dropping to 48 also allows the defenders to drop back behind the attacker more realistically - resulting in less successful lobbed balls. CPU also will shoot in more obvious situations than before. Run freq change helps there as well - GK ability is just for personal preference, but less over-saves will result.

Hey, just want to let u know. I try your cl.ini (download it from OS forum as I remember) with latest slider(48press), combine with fidel HG 2.0 files except nettackle. So far its wonderful, in fact best gameplay I ever tried.
I played +-10 games with various team and various result. Very good! Somehow vs good and vs weak team I found noticable difference.
Foul not so many but with 8 minutes gameplay I get minimum 2/3 fouls per game (not include handB of course), and more if I use timingly right skill moves or "protect" the ball stand often.
Dunno for others but for me I'm very satisfied with this.
Congrats bro, I think I'm going to stick with this one untill ur new ini came out. But please don't downgrade the progress. U already did extraordinary job to make fifa gameplay better.

Im taking quite a long time to get the next one right.Mostly im working in ball physics and finding that is really hard to get the exact bounce and power, etc.But ill get there :)
The fouls is so weird.Sometimes i think i got it right and get 5 /7 fouls each side and the next match, i see plays that should be called and the referee just seemed to have gone blind all of a sudden.And that is with Referee override so that shouldnt happen right?
Well anyway, is taking way longer than i thought but im sure ill get it done in the next couple of days.
I will prolly post it in the OS forums first so check Matt's (SEPAKBOLA here) post tomorrow.

I am working on getting fouls to work for the console players. I know I could easily wait for zarze's file - but in the meantime, I try to figure out how to get fouls against the CPU. Last match I had 11 on the CPU - it was another Milan v Juve - but it looked promising. The next match only had 5 for the CPU - and that's been consistent through 7 matches so far tonight.

Mostly ball changes.Heavier ball, slows down a lot better on the grass and bounce a little more realistic. More shots from the cpu as you can see on the screenshots.
Fouls are there although it could be higher and im already working on it for the next update.
This is without handballs so if you turn them on, you will have a nice amount of fouls per game which in term would make the game more fun :)

Shots are nicely distributed , 9 and 7 and you can see that the cpu tend to shoot a bit more from far away.They will shoot even more on the next file but i couldnt add it to this one yet cus is not finished.

The ball now should slow down better on ground passes so we arent playing in a frozen pitch anymore :)

Zarze, do you know how to rise agressivnes of CPU player, i have my own cl.ini, and its pretty good but it has a problem, CPU defenders let my go by them to easy, so if you could help my i would apriciate it very much!?
