I think based on commitment, mental toughness and never giving up, Turkey deserve to be in the final but sadly for them, football was never like that. And how ironic it is to be eliminated the same way as they had eliminated the other teams. Euro 2008 at least will have a story to tell, the Turkey late shows.

I was missing some feed as well. Oh well, I can't blame the cable operator then. Anyway, I think Turkey hit the post from a free kick before the game ended. Tough luck for them.

I think he's referring to Bosniaks. Many consider Turkey their second home, and some even support Turkey more than their own national team due to the reason that we really don't have a national team, it's a big chaos going on at the moment.

I for one, support my national team, no matter what the situation is...even if we had to round up donkeys and pull the team jersey on them. But, I support Turkey almost as much as my own national team due to reasons really unknown to me. Your obvious first guess would be that it's a political reason, but it is not, at least I don't think so (It could be a subconscious thing). I hate politics and turn my head from it as much as possible. It could simply be Turkey's style of play, very passionate and technically sound. You could say that I've started being a fan ever since World Cup 2002, when I fell in love with their style. However, most Bosniaks do support Turkey because of the political reasons as well.

Oh boy...another smart man. Why dont you blame Busacca for not seeing a clear foul on Lahm, which might have been a penalty? I´m sick of this, oh we deserved to win...oh we didnt have our best team on the pitch.....oh the opponent was playing downhills.....stop whining. As i said before....turkey was lucky the last 3 games...an unbelievable streak. But it had to end.

What-a-*******-match. Shame the storm ****ed up with everybody's signal. And by the way, the storm wasn't in Basel, it was in Vienna, where the signal is sent to the world.

Anyway, un-freaking-believeble. Turkey almost did it again, but then, Kazim got injured in a critical place, and Lahm seized the opportunity with a great run and even greater finishing. It's really good to see Germany playing attractive football. Lehmann was BAAAAD, the 2nd goal? He thought he was Muslim too and felt the need to start praying on his knees?

So, tonight we'll hopefully have a semi-final as attractive as yesterday, preferrably without the signal problems. Surely it will be a good one.

tureky was the better team, deserved to win but germany did what they do best, again. attacked 3 times scored 3 goals....
on the bright side, you should be very proud of your team cause they played football at it's purest state, with a lot of heart, passion and teamwork you guys were a joy to watch

Hmm..It was a great match for us...But this is football...You can't know what will happen.We played as well as,but Germans were very patient and took the match...And i think there is nothing to say anymore.

I don't want to blame referee, but at least he should give a yellow card to our opponent.Anyway...

I think that's all that needs to be said.

I love the passion that Turkey plays with, but I don't support Turkey. I fell over in my chair laughing when Rivaldo did that to them in 2002. Germany is always my second team no matter what. I don't usually support National Teams that I don't have ancestry from. Oh sure, I love to watch Brazil, or Leo Messi, but I don't really care. USA and to a lesser extent Germany it's different.
