What a dissapointing game......I expected a much closer contest with a lot of goals. Russia just couldn't lift themselves....Arshavin was well and truly held in check.

first off, congrats to the spanish NT. it's been a long time coming to say the least. all the pieces are in place, good luck in the final.

to the russians, congrats on a great tournament, you should be proud.

on the game, spain obviously dominated. russia tried to push forward in the first half but when you play a team of spain's quality, if you get stretched at all, they will control the game with their passing. especially in the 2nd, after the early spanish goal, russia were attempting to push forward but their passing quality was very poor, conceding possession cheaply. that was music to spanish ears as they gathered the ball and passed it with ease. the way russia were playing the next two goals were inevitable.

good to see david silva score. he has been great in this tourney for spain and definitely deserved a G. probably my favourite spanish player this tournament.

so the two best teams are in the final, the way it should be.

Totally outclassed. I thought Russia would come out more confident and blazing but I think it was half mental and the other half, we are just a much more talented team. That's the bottom line. I just dont understand those that said Russia were favorites!!! How? Why? I mean, must have been picked favorites from a coin toss.

Anyway, off to the final. Germany will be very tough. If we play as well as we did today, well win. Everyone at the back was due for a good performance and we got it. Thank God we have a very deep bench so filling in spots will not be an issue, even with Villa out. I predict a 2-1 to Spain!

Thank you mate! and yes, Russia fans should be very proud. Great tournament. I feel Russia is up and coming and we haven't heard the last from them. Mate, I really really feel we have an outstanding talent by the bucketful squad with a good coach. The writing might be on the wall. If we win this aroagones will be seen as a genius. And finally people will forget about the whole Raul thing.

Spain stop Zhirkov and Arshavin, so the Russian attack....

Pavlyuchenko tried, but.. it was a total domination by the spanish team.

In the beginning of EURO 2008 i "predicted" a Iberian Final ( Portugal - Spain ), Spain reached to the final, the germans beat us, but anyway. Putting apart the great perfomance of the midfielders, i liked a lot of Sergio Ramos, Zhirkov didn't had a chance against him, and in the offensive game he played well.

Exactly, that's my point, such great options that allow them to leave players like Alonso or Fabregas on the bench, amazing!

The germans beat Portugal on 20 minutes of brilliance and two set plays and you barely beat Turkey...and the only team you beat properly was Poland and they are not even in the tournament....you have no room to brag my friends...it should be even it can go either way, but in terms of form Spain has the edge
