Out of respect for the final and my opponent, I am not going to trash talk. Actually, at the beginning of the tournament I never would have predicted team Juventino to make the final, but some of his picks (excusing cavani) have started the season blazing. That being said, I think my experience and organisation would take me to the title.
This is turning into a rout. I'd put Icardi in for Cavani, Cavani clearly disappoints and Icardi outclassed Juve yesterday and has been carrying Inter on his back for some time now. Great player. I think his impact deserves consideration.
Other than that, I have to say I really like the assembly of Sir Didier's team. As a Juve fan I have affinity with the formation and some of the players. As it seems there are barely any votes left to turn the tie (even though there are two days left), I can live with how the final currently unfolds.

Yup. More regarding Inter - I think their squad this season is looking quite balanced and I suppose you can finally call them a rather solid team, at least compared to recent years. Wouldn't be surprised if they managed to finish in the top three once the season comes to a close.Juventino;3959480 said:

Icardi's got an incredible goal scoring record at Inter so far already. Google tells me 51 goals in 95 appearances, so basically one in every two matches.
Also getting Banega on a free was a fantastic coup for them. He's been great so far, or so I've heard, not that you'd expect nothing less from him. Perisic and Candreva/Brozovic aren't exactly bad players either on the flanks. Plus their defensive part of the midfield looks good too. Joao Mario has kinda justified his pricetag so far, and there are the likes of Kondogbia (who's been rather disappointing so far ever since he joined them last season though, but I hope he fulfills his potential and comes good) and Gary Medel too.
I like their CB-s too, Miranda and Jeison Murillo (great player and seems like one for the future) are quality and seem to form a real strong partnership. Sorry for the long post and hijacking this thread, but thought they deserved mentioning.
When it comes to the actual draft final, gotta go with Sir_Didier_Drogba's team here again. Fancied it from the moment I first saw it. Not like Juventino's is bad either, but the first one edges it for me.

So after giving it some more thought, unless they're going to take EL too seriously, their chances of qualifying for the CL next season might take a little blow. But it should be their priority, I doubt they'll want to settle for anything less.
Juventus and Napoli will most likely be the main contenders for the top two spots. And can't really see anyone else gunning for the third besides Inter and Roma, but you never know there can always be some surprises.
Milan's squad still needs some revamping and I wouldn't put them up there with the rest I mentioned, IMO.

I've voted for Sir_Didier_Drogba through this entire competition and it looks like he's going to win now, however I'm going to break with it now. Juventino did what it takes to win and I'll tell you why:
He took a couple risks on younger players, and it's paid off. Kimmich and Stones look to be top players at their positions right now and he got them deep in the draft. With Kimmich playing a Xabi Alonso/Busquets kind of role in front of a defense of Stones and Chiellini, I think it's going to be very hard to stop them. Stones defenders can spray passes into the channels.
You might be thinking, "too bad it's a diamond, who is going to be in the channels", but that misunderstands fluidity, which would be key in such a technically solid side like this. Cavani and Isco have spent a lot of time in their careers on the wings, and operate better in space; presumably those two would drift all over the pitch.
This really represents, for me, the current debate in football: Pep vs. Mourinho/Conte, and for my money I'm always going to go with Pep. Ideally, you should want your team to control the game and I think Juventino has constructed a really flawless team in many aspects.
Yes Sir_Didier_Drogba has a very solid defense, and yes I think it will be extremely hard to score on them, but if any team can do it, this is the team. Aguero just scores goals against everyone, and the ball will spend nearly the entire game in Sir_Didier_Drogba's final third.

I actually agree with much of that, though I do think you underemphasise a couple of the weaknesses such as Isco stagnation/frustration at Real Madrid and the fact aguero has never played with a strike partner.
But yeah, this tournament does remind me a little of last year's CL, with my team representing atletico and juventino's Real Madrid. Juventino was not off to impressive start, but grew into the competition. Sir Didier knocks out the Messi team in the semi finals with a very tough but draining performance. I can see this final being unremarkable and going to penalties, and then it's a roll of the dice....

Thanks man! I must admit, I really wanted to win this year after being narrowly edged in the euro 2016 draft, but I like your team a lot - Kimmich and stones were bold, prophetic picks.
