So, this got two thirds of the votes, and I want to test run it to see how it might work for future drafts. It will be tightly regulated and a bit restrictive, so I don't actually anticipate many trades, but that's not the point, I just want to see how it functions and what people think of it so that maybe I can come up with something roadworthy for next year. Think of it as like the VAR pilot at the confederations cup.

How it works:
The window is open for one week, from now. Each player can make a maximum of two trades (players, not deals). You may transfer list a maximum of three players that you are interested in trading. You may indicate what positions or type of players you are looking for, but you MAY NOT name specific players you want. Other players can then quote your post in public and offer you specific players from their teams in exchange, these players do not have to be on their transfer list. You can then accept or reject the offer. You may not suggest an alternative player, however if you reject the offer they can come back with an offer of different players. If you agree the deal, both parties must sign off on it in the picks thread. ALL discussion of transfers must take place in public, more general chat is permitted in the SG Facebook group and formal offers should be here. If someone approaches you with an offer via PM or message, you are OBLIGATED to report it and quote the message, they are immediately handed a transfer ban for the duration of the window. You must trade one player for one player or two for two, no uneven trades, and naturally a player can only be traded once.
​Remember, this is not FM, players won't get demoralised by being transfer listed, so you can list someone just to see what offers you might get. If you just list your worst subs, you are unlikely to get many offers. You should make transfer listings in the format of my first post, where I will list mine.
IF I GET ANY SUSPICION OF DODGY DEALING, THE WHOLE WINDOW WILL SLAM SHUT IMMEDIATELY.
If you don't wish to participate you are of course free to completely sit out this stage of the game.
