I dunno, maybe 20-30, if we keep all the info in the FM and CM boards.
Depends on if some supermod/admin is willing to post a board-wide announcement (we'd have a lot of group 1 people that way

If we do hit it big, we could fill up reserves and the youth team 
(yes I realise that would put me in the youth team. But I would play myself anyway

Nah, I mean, if some guy on the FIFA forums decides to sign up, he will be just like some random player in the team (NOT the gray ones, the REAL ones.)

The AI won't assign any contracted randoms to teams, though. You're stuck with the people who signed up, and greyed out filler players. Might as well fill all the squads.
One thing: I can't assign people to first team/reserves/youth team. The AI does that.

I think it should be restricted to people who have posted in here. At least.. once or something, who actually have the game. I mean, we'll have enough people to fill two teams with subs, with just people on this forum, don't you think?

If the sign up thread gets opened on monday, announcements could be posted on wednesday. That way regular posters will get first shot at signing up. We'll have 40 max sign ups (more will be too many), and people of group 1 have reserved spots.

16x youths
50 total, so we'll have 50 spots, not 40. If we do get that many people, I'll adjust the budget accordingly.

i mean, we could just have 40
and give us money to steal all the good younguns on the game, cos (assuming out reputation is crap) they'd probly b the only ppl we could sign
and personally i like signing the youngstars like Ze Mario and Fabio Paim etc and lettin em come thru the ranks slowly...

In the sign up can we make it that the persons forum user name is like a middle name so then we can easily identify who people are

No, first name and last name are your real names, your NICKNAME can be your forum name. But middle name sounds better? Dunno.
