Just so you guys don't think we've forgotten all about you, I have been testing some of the graphics that we will put in the patch, because the database itself will take longer to test - since we'll be using the 8.0.2 -. (H)


So, here they are:

this first one shows the main logo in both the banner on the top, as well as the little box in the 'Mail' section when the main subject is SG Utd.





the second one is the team main page, which shows the team's full name (and the league i've put us in in this test :D ), also the players - I've created Aiden as an example.





the third one is the player's(Aiden's) profile, in which we can see the cut-out picture of the player, as well as the background logo that goes behind the player picture. (don't get to excited Aiden, those won't be your final stats nor your salary haha :p)





in this fourth and for the moment last one the small icons with the team logo appears:






so there you go, feast on that, as soon as I can I will be posting pictures of the kits in-game, too..

also, this thread may be used for some screenies once we get the actual database editing started, so make sure you stay with us (Y)

I wouldn't want to see that. This patch is not intended to be another lame lounge themed joke. At least for now I think this forum is safe from such kinda crap.
Unless of course those making it this time around want that too, so I'll just...

I'd rather have members who aren't players be the staff, random staff seems like a bit of a let-down.

haven't decided yet, but as Alex so eloquently put it, we are serious people inside this forum :D so no, you won't find Messi's goal winning the elections, but if you want, once you start your game, you're welcome to buy Huntelaar. (Y)

here's a couple more screens, these are with the original FM08 skin (in which the faded out logo also appears in the team screen), and with our kits! :D






again, as you can see, the home kit is the blue one, so the team colors will probably be switched from what they are in this little test i made(basically the team colors are main:blue/secondary:orange, and not as they show up in the screens i've been posting.)






this next screenshot shows how the home colors will look like(they'll be like the u-20s colors in this test):
