I personally think it's much more realistic. And you can add variety and set up different CPU teams different ways:

LB LCB RCB RB - high defense, low attack
LWB LCB RB RWB - medium defense/attack, right side pressure
LWB LB RCB RWB - medium defense/attack, left side pressure
LWB LB RB RWB - low defense, high attack

Changes the way you play as well, you can shift tactics and formations based on the CPU team's defensive setup. Long balls work well against CPU teams with a low defense/high attack setup for example.

Hi bangus i tried to change rcb and lcb to rb and lb but it doesn't allow me to do it in team management formation. Did you mean I have to do that in the db?
In team management it only allows me to change cb to dm but then both cbs push too forward

My FIFA 11 patch was my best patch because it had mixed database and ini edits and played incredibly.

It's only issue is career mode, I usually do not play that mode but am looking forward to the mode this year so editing the career files is a must especially the growth aspect.
