skill move tips for a noob (360/ps3)

anyone have any tips to using dribble skill moves?
I get really frustrated playing against the CPU cuz i can never beat them in one on one situations. Even when i have a high dribbling skilled player no matter what i do, the defense just seems to pluck the ball from my boot like a ripe peach.

this one always works...

move at a right angle to your opponent (eg. you are goin towards the sideline while your opponent is facing you towards the goalline).

You= ^ < = opponent...Your goal is that way ->

Just as your opponent gets close move the right analog stick toward you goal and sprint spint sprint...will give you an extra metre or 2 headstart on them.

not really a skill move but effective
