How can I skip the long-time connection check?
I don't waiting, I want go in career mode immediately
just block fifa12.exe in firewall
it doesnt skip it, it just doesnt let you connect.
U need to wait 5sec at connection check? So big problem...
thats my thoughts exactly.
Yes. For me it's a problem.
if you have the solution, thank you
No +1 to increase your post counter, bye
i uninstall origin and it works
i dont have origin installed (never will) & i still have to wait a minute for it to no find a connection to ea servers.
but i dont mind.
I would like to try this. But how do you start the game then? Clicking on the FIFA exe. brings up the Origin login box, not the game.
Why would you want to do that? This year its worth connecting to EA servers, due to Football Club and all.
But being a web programmer, your question whetted my curiosity. So i sat down with my tools and 10 mins later i found out the answer for you
If you still want to do it.This is how to do it.
open the file
You will have to open the file in notepad.
enter the following lines after the last line in the file
The lines in Green will stop your connection to Origin. So you can start Fifa without connecting to Origin.
The lines in red will stop Fifa from communicating to EA servers.
You can use one or both.Depends upon you.
nice job bro, this will stop the problems & the posts of the members.
it's works well
I used also a regula/role/option in windows firewall but it still takes 3-5 seconds, try simpson's trick, thank you
Thanks @simpson. Very helpful!
I starting reading this thread thinking: "Unnecessary", here it's just 30 second (if you consider some hours after a long day working, to have fun) but after testing, it looks more 'satisfactory' to run the game.
Thanks God! You Gained Yourself A Reputation!
..good work!! I recommend to use on both with my Fast Start!!
I have not the host file, just "network", "protocol", "services" and "lmhosts.sam", maybe since I reinstalled windows because the file is in "windows (old)/windows/system 32/drivers/etc
I find the problem, thanks you for this trick
