É normal os jogadores desacelerarem, já estavam a pensar no jogo do próximo fim de semana, que por acaso é com o teu FC Porto. E como é evidente o Lyon não é uma equipa vulgar e não se pode perder a concentração a esse nível competitivo.
É patético tentar tirar mérito ao Benfica pela exibição de ontem. Aquela primeira parte foi fantástica, não é qualquer equipa que até aos 70 minutos ganha por 4-0 ao Lyon, e não fosse o César Peixoto um tosco, podiam ser pelo menos 5, falha uma de baliza aberta.
E o Coentrão tá offside o caralho, já vi o replay e está em jogo. Mais do que isso, o 2º golo do Lyon resulta de um canto que não existe pois nessa jogada há aí sim e claramente um jogador do Lyon em offside que obriga o Luisao a cabecear para trás cedendo canto.
P.S.: E sim houve também uma Robertada no final, nunca deveria ter saído aquela bola.

we are just pathetic, I could almost feel ashamed if I could care a little bit more about football nowadays... I can just imagine how i would feel if it was a few years back, oh wait, i've already did lots of times (maybe not like this one, but close anyway)
just a couple of things, for those who keep saying that Hulk and Falcão are bad players and wouldn't have place in our starting eleven, maybe this game can keep those mouths shut in the future, just to prevent being ridiculously ridiculous. I'm not talking about this forum particularly, just benfiquistas in general. Not saying we should praise them either (couldn't be that bad anyway) cause that's their fans job, but just being shut maybe would be fine, and maybe, who knows, start looking at our own, to our own problems, to our problems besides refereeing... yes, there are greater problems than that...
congrats to porto, you guys are fun to watch this season

I have to say I agree with the players on this, terrible choices - as it says in that article, remember the last time David Luiz was pushed to the Left Back position? That's when we lost by 4 against Liverpool!, Sidnei who played what 3 minutes (?) this season, Salvio as 2nd forward, Kardec alone in the front and Saviola benched and therefore playing in a system the team is not used to when we needed to win - the whole approach to this match was wrong. Bottom line we needed to win and Jorge Jesus was only (and way too) concerned with the defending... Also taking the confidence of players like Fábio Coentrão, Saviola, Gaitán and even César Peixoto.
