Slow Gameplay & Fast Menus (SLOWFaSTER's Thread)

Hi, I was working on this from a while and now I'm ready to share my creation with you.

With SLOWFaSTER you'll be able to

-play your offline matches with a slower pace and gameplay;
-improve the speed of menus that they will appear twice faster than before.

How is that possible? Well, thanks to Cheatengine SLOWFaSTER uses a simple process that speed up and down FIFA with the press of two buttons: F2 and F7.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Once this software has been installed on your PC, you have to manually install "CheatEngine62.exe" that you will find in the new folder "C : \ SLOWFaSTER \ "

2) Before playing the game, start the "SLOWFaSTER.exe"
- Press F2 for a Faster speed in menus.
- Press F7 for a Slow gameplay during the matches.

3) Once you have done with the game, you must launch again the executable "SLOWFaSTER.exe" in order to properly close the process. That passage must be followed or the next time you will load SLOWFaSTER it will fail.

So, one launch to start it and another launch to close it. Simple as it is.
I remind that when you launch SLOWFaSTER.exe there will be no prompt or window. It just starts as process. To see if it's working press F2 e F7 during a match and you will feel the difference.

With this profile dated 13/10/12 (that you have to substitute in the same folder you've installed SLOWFaSTER), the game will be a bit more slower and also have a new hotkey: f5 for restoring the default speed.

Attention: The new profile and the new fixed exe should be placed in "C : \ SLOWFaSTER \ " and they must replace the existing files.



BUGS NOTE:
->If for some reason the process won't work or close, do this:
go to "C : \ SLOWFaSTER \ " and launch "Origin OFF.exe" (and perhaps you'll need this pack on your "C : \ Windows \ System32 ".

->If you are not able to chat with your friends (but this is made for offline games!) make sure you have loaded the F7 profile!
->If AVAST reports it as virus, it's a false positive so just select it as a trusted file.
->If you have problems in Vista 64, open the program by choosing "run this program as an administrator" for the exe and be sure to have installed the properly 32/64 bit version of this software based on your OS.



LITTLE ADVISE:
Do you wanna enjoy a better experience ingame?
Use the software "Xpadder" that you'll find in "C : \ SLOWFaSTER \ Utility"
and bind in your joypad: Start as F2 and Select as F7. Now you'll be able to switch on the profile you want w/o leaving your joypad.

Makes the gameplay slow? As in 'laggy slow' or 'pacey slow'?

this is really good after trying. What is the slowdown factor coefficient? how much longer matches last? Also may be make the coefficient adjustable via config file.

What it does is that it enables speedhack (CheatEngine) and executes a particular value respective to the button pressed. I did it manually using CE and opening FIFA 13 process and setting the value of game speed to 0.91. Still can't find the right speed! We can make it damn slower!

So, the slowdown is set to 0.97 (and that is the reason for the F7 hotkey). Under 0.97 the game feels a bit too laggy, so there's no an adjustable value or a working range to adjust it in my opinion, this is the best you can get! The same thing for the menu, I set the speed to 2 (as F2 remind it), beyond that it will be difficult to use menus cos they'll be too quick and frenetic!
I think matches will last 1-2mins more.

0.97 is still too fast.
0.92 is the real speed of real game. And works w/out any laggy look.

Try with rain, in my tests a value under 0.95 made the game a bit laggy, I prefered a better response and to lower a bit acc. and speed sliders !

If you are ok with 0.92 I'm fine with it.

So what is this value you are changing, is it the same value that is adjusted by changing slow/normal/fast game speed? I'm very interested to try it as the game is simply way too fast, even faster than the demo

Not properly. But it affect the gameplay in the same way without any contraindication for cpu or user style of playing!

It didn't work for me After installing CE I couldn't run Slow faster.exe ("This app can't run on your PC), I ran the CETRAINER file and it actually made my game quicker. Did you make 64 bit app or something?

Are you able to change with F2 and F8 the two profiles? Do you have a version of windows with 32bit?

Yes 32 bit windows 8, F2/F8 didn't do anything

I don't know...there's no option for 32/64bir for the script...perhaps the problem is win8!

actually i got it working with just the script and not using the exe, thanks it works well to slow the game down but what i realised with your tool is that game speed is not even the problem for me, its the fact everything is too smooth and floaty compared to the demo, reducing the game speed doesn't fix the root problem, think i will be uninstalling this game

There is no cprogram.

the files must be placed in CSLOWFaSTER\. Otherwise it won't work the exe.
During the installation you have to not change the directory.

No prompt or window will apear though! You have to open the game and test with F2 and F7.

Mmm, cheat engine must be installed in his default folder in programs...but I think it's not the solution...could you gently postme a screen where I can see the folder you have installed SLOWFaSTER and the error?
If you have win7 there's no reason why It gives you an error!

That CheatEngine works it does not matter! Have you tried to launch the SLOWFaSTER.CETRAINER alone? Try F2 e F8 ingame.

If you post a pic as I said before i will understand much more things.
