So wat controllers actually work?

Can somebody actually tell me what controllers they use that work ok as im fed up trying to get my xbox ones to work !!

maybe your just confusing your controller w/ another controller.

you need the wireless receiver & the drivers for the receiver & then it will sync up no problems.

i have the reciever but still no joy is there a special way u have to do this............i also have the drivers installed.

hold down the sync button on the receiver until it flashes then hold the sync button on the controller, it should sync up.

keep it away from anything w/ power as it might cause interference.

menu button on controller just keeps flashing all the time though!!
Do i need xbox controllers for pc or are they the same as the ones from my xbox?

all wireless m$ controllers work for pc & xbox 360 so they are the same.
if you are trying to use a xbox (not 360) controller w/ a 360 receiver it will not work.

what bro ?

if that is your problem, we can fix it if you have some tools.

a torx10 tool
a soldering iron
some spare speaker wire
any serial port cable

i can show you how to solder to the controller pcb, then solder the wires from the pcb to the serial port adapter & then point you in the direction of some drivers.
