I know that this topic is for SM09, but i have the same problem in 09 and 08, the same that the torcamaniac said, i dont know what i do, please help me.

Requisites for my tools are:
.NET Framework 2
DirectX for Managed Code
FIFA game properly installed
32bit operating system

I just can tell you to check each of them.

Well I'm sure it has something to do with windows updates, specifically net framework updates but what exactly I cant tell. Anyway this is what I have now:

32bit XP Professional OS
XP Servicepack 3
framework 1.1 SP1
framework 2.0 SP1
framework 3.0 SP1
DirectX 9c

If I were you I wouldn't install any other versions of net framework like 3.5 or 3.5 SP1!!! Remove all frameworks with the tool I posted on this thread. Next update the windows with every update microsoft finds(automatic updates) except FRAMEWORK 3.5 and 3.5 SP1.Be sure to restart your comp after every update if windows asks for it. Uninstall all fifamaster tools and reinstall them again.

I dont think suddenly. Its just that I dont know excactly which update made problems. As I descriped on the page before I started with clean windows reinstall and so on. One of the reasons I think it must be the updates is because I never had this problem till last week, so it had to be something that installed itself over the updates.

I have a probleam !!!

please Help me

i have import sound Commentary with Sound master 09
but when play game commentary not played (no commentary in game)
or
if pause game with Esc key and resume game played commentary and after 2 or 3 sec again not played commentary

please help me

Rinaldo I hope that you can fix with the next release the fu***** sx.exe problem.
Because this is very stupid when the export and edit function don't work because the program can't not find the wav file in the install dir of the SoundMaster 09 after exporting but I can find the file there when the error comes.

I think Sound Master is the most buggy program of Rinaldo series from the first release :(

Keep this in mind: save only one time per edit with Sound Master. Don't save in the middle of some other mods. Just wait and save only at the end. It seems that, most of the time, if you save more than one time, commentary disappears. Maybe with chants importation the problem is even worst.
About sx.exe problem I think there is no workaround :(

I also used SM a lot without any problem. Nevertheless it has been reported several times that to save twice, sometimes, causes the commentary to disappear (though it never happened to me). So I recommend to save and exit, then restart the program again ... and obviously make a backup of your audio folder.
Another cause of "silent" commentary is the introduction of a sound recorded at a wrong frequency, FIFA 09 requires 22050 Hz. In this case it is enough to remove the sound and the commentary returns back.
Last point: sx.exe is an external tool and it's not part of my design. It is a DOS tool and I think that if you have problems with it you should solve it using some compatibility option (settable clicking on the file with the right button of the mouse).

SM09 is not a sound editor but you can use audacity (included in the package) to add reverb.

I need to see your chants.bin file. Extract it from your audio.big using File Master and post it.
