Hi Papinho, thanks for making this tool. I play the original fifa16 .exe so am thinking of trying this. Just a couple of questions:-

I like to change the net depths (for variety) in each stadium in the db - will this by used or bypassed with your tool?

And also with each stadium having a country location this is also linked to regional audio - chants, heckles, whistles etc in the game. Is this any chance this info is preserved with your tool too?

If not is there anyway we could replace different ID's each time preserving the data which comes with them instead of just ID177?

thanks.

The database info, including nets, camera zoom and heights, crowd size, locations (police ect...) are preserved.

Considering the above their is no point making it keep the original ID. Also it might cause problems because of files being sometimes in the bh files sometimes in the scenasets folders.

Great news, thanks Papinho. I will see if I can install this tomorrow.

Yes, fair enough, there's no need to change the ID if all the stadium specific info is carried over. I'm a classic footie fan so I'm also replacing alot of the stadia (radiosity ones too) with their late eighties counterparts, terracing, fencing and wot not.

thanks again man.

Got it working. The install is definitely not for beginners, took a few attempts and a bit of troubleshooting. Reading through the posts earlier in this thread helped though. Its a shame the setup up might be off putting for some because it works great once you get there.

Are we limited to the 500 stadium entries in the db or is there no limit other than harddrive space?

Cheers.

Congrats for making it working without my help!

The limit is your hard drive space.

Cheers Papinho. The main issues I had were getting "gWidgets2RGtk2" installed and I found R_3.6.1 was the only version that seemed to function correctly for me.

Thank you for the tool.

Any clue what's the problem? I have this error

Using vanilla game, under Windows 10 x64, with R 3.6.1

* Python and R plugins seems to be all well installed

I hear the first sound but not the second one

What happens if you try to load a stadium with the SEARCH button of the app? DO you get the long mario sound?

Hey first of all, thank you for your time. Don't worry, I don't want to make you loose time debugging this because I just wanted to insert only one stadium and I made it using the Stadium Server.

However, the potential of your app is AMAZING. The technical sheet you wrote is the best documenation I have ever seen in a modding tool (I have more than 20 years editing and playing games).
Even having intermediate knowledges of Python and JavaScript is a little difficult to debug because there isn't any error, but I'm sure the problem is my database or game, and not your tool.

Congratulations for such incredible tool. If you're able to do this for "just" a videogame, I can't imagine what you can do for a paid job. I want you in my team!

Hi Papinho, is there any easy way you could offer a user customisable sound clip notification, was thinking it would be nice if I could add my own crowd chant or something instead of the mario music?

Cheers.

That's not too difficult to do. I will do a small tutorial on how to do it when I will find the time.
The Mario sounds are default sounds from the R library beepr.

To modify the sounds played by the app, you have to open the capture_id.R file inside the folder Stadium Server R App\R things\Working_Function with a text editor.

Search for the lines with the expression beep. The first one is for the first sound, the second one for the final sound.

Replace what is between the quotations marks (ie: "treasure") by the full path to your custom sound, keeping the quotation marks of course (ie: "C:\\Users\\Julien\\Music\\the-chicken-stage-band-arrangement-by-kris-berg.mp3").
The easiest way to get the path formated correctly for R is to drag and drop the file into the R console. It will return you an error message, but you will be able to copy then paste the path.

I hope it is clear enough!

Thanks for looking into this.

I initially placed the wav file in the stadium server folder thinking this would be neat and tidy but I couldn't get it to work at first with the file path even with the drag and drop on to R and copy error message, kept getting this message:
"Loading required package: beepr
Error: '\S' is an unrecognized escape in character string starting ""D:\S"

So I tried a few other things like different directory, dropping some of the file path syntax and finally went back to putting the file in the stadium server folder and entering just the actual wav file name in the quotation marks and that did the trick.

Thanks again man.

it's a stupid question

But...

Is it possible to use both servers together? Is your server only for stadiums and the shawminator for scoreboards only?

If you are able to use shawminator server, I would recommend using it only because it allows you to load automatically both the stadiums and the scoreboards (plus intro movies).
But in theory you can use both. My server is exclusively a stadium server unfortunately.

I followed all the instructions, but when I open the application in R, the only thing that doesn't open is the black Python window (3.9.2), not even when pressing the PYTHON button, which finally does not let the stadiums load, seeing only the Tierra de Campeones stadium.
Any solution?
Greetings.

Hi mate, hoping everything is working just right for you and your love ones.

You see mate i´m using the latest FIP version in my game and so far everything was working well with your server app in kick off mode. I wanted to try the server in career mode... and for some reason it wasn´t loading the right stadiums and sometimes the game just crashed. As you know The FIP patch adds real stadium names for all teams and for some reason the game displayed the generic stadium names in the kick off hub screen in career mode instead.

So I wonder if this happened then the server will not work right. I confess that i changed some league names with CM 16 and that maybe this is the reason your great app is not working well in career mode.

What do you think I should do, restore the respective FIP db or maybe something else... feel free to extrapolate mate so far the experience with your tool has been fantastic.

Hi!

If you are using a different/new database, you have to export the updated dB files to the app folder again.
Also if the names displayed do not match in game, you might want to reset the squad file in game before starting your cm. The tool has been designed to work in cm, as long as you use the kickoff hub files provided with the tool.

I think another thing I should´ve had in mind at the moment of setting up the new career mode is to use the "customized database" option. I tried that and then all the real stadium nsames appeared in the kick off hub screen.

Tonight I will try it and give you feedback on the outcome.

Thanks in advance for your kindness and your time mate.
