Stadiums 2013

After an examination deepened by files "stadium", I noticed some changes. Even if the general structure did not change, some "part" have now 3 textures. The number of part decreased. I continue my examination but I think that it will be necessary to reimport stadiums created in 2012 in containers 2013. The external files ( crowd and glare) did not change...

I seen all the graphics of Santiago Bernabeu stadium with the CM12, and is the same ******* ****.
Nothing has changed.... Is regrettable that a stadium with licence, looks so different that how is this stadium in the real life (Great work EA :clapwap:)

What that mean? Is that cous of time of the day?

By the way, I tryed to import .b2f files in FIFA 13 container with SW12 and everything was good with SW12, but ingame not(that wit FIFA 13 Demo). It appear visible invisible problem and some parts was not visible at all. I was made boundingboxes. Only the pitch and goalie was vissible.

Also I think that in 2012 some stadium containers have 3 textures too, cous I remember that when I was searching for best container for importing there was a stadiums which was have ambient and diffuse textures, but ingame in this parts was have something like reflection which was not in difusse or ambient textures.
Only invert faces orientation to mark? other(invert x, invert y and invert z)? By default was marked only inver z. Like that I importing for FIFA 12.

@ Ludo I found out that the third textures file is a bumpmap as I know and it´s very easy too use it ´cause we must just add the texture if we wanted to use it ingame. I think this could be nice for Logos or simple 2D textures to give them a structure.

After few hour of investigation, I`m a little confused. Is that possible in FIFA 13 to have some kind of smart lightmap? In proces of investigation i put 2 meshes in the middle of the pitch and the shadows of them was on the pitch! Also when the players walk thru this shadows, thay was going darker there. About disapearing of the parts, I think that this is cous of changes in the final version of SW12 with boundingboxes. With final SW12 .3ds and .b2f dont work good, but stadiums maked with older version of SW12 dont have a problems with dissapearing eaven with FIFA 12 container(I try only with .3ds, tommorow I`ll try with .b2f). Thats what I have for now. I hope it helps.

This is right FIFA13 using a new lighting system for all 3d stuff this make it easier for us to create stadiums and lightmaps ;)

What about on the outside of the pitch? Does the dynamic lightmap and shadow still applies?

I've imported the CAmp Nou from fifa 12 but there are some issues:
1 - There is no transparency in the huge net that separates the fans from the pitch
2 - This results in the shadow where the goal is and where the barcelona logos are on entering the pich and near the goal area being black instead of looking like a shadow

3 - There is a picket fence loooking texture at the top of the stadium and I don't know why. It looks great though and I have added edited turfs and also my own Barcelona nets in blue and red









SHADOW IS VERY BLACK IN GOAL AREA AND THE MESHES FOR THE NET FOR THE FANS HAS NO VISIBLE TRANSPARENCY. IT LOOKS LIKE A HUGE WHITE SHEET

May be with FIFA 13 container all that things will be ok.

And I was right about disapearing. I install v 1.0.4 of SW, import .b2f file in FIFA 13 stadium file and there was no problems with disapearing, evereything was OK. Also if the dynamic shadows and lightmap are fact, why EA maked lightmap and ambient textures? Now it appear two shadows on the stadium. I`ll show some pics tonight.
