Hey Gonzaga :) what about Bramall Lane (Sheffield United) please? I see this team has a real stadium for FIFA20. Thanks!

Sorry, i just realized you mentioned your next one will be Bramall Lane. Did not see that note before. My question/request was just a pure coincidence :)

Hello, everyone!
Some brief news: in case someone is surprized clicking down the stadium link and not seeing mediafire page... it's me changing to advertizing links. I saw one of these from @RALE when downloading his face packs, it really didn't annoyed me that much. There is no "allowing notifications" or "require to download a plugin", no pop up pages. Just see some window with some news for 10 secs and watch a video for 50 secs. After that you press "continue to download", wait for another 15 secs and that's it - you go to mediafire page with the stadium.
I hope nobody will feel offended or angry about it. I'm just trying to justify somehow the time I spend converting these stadiums. Thanks for your support all this time!

p.s.: Bramall Lane is giving me some really hard time. It's freezing my game and I don't know why!

@gonzaga Eager to see new stadiums from FIFA20, some nice WC2006 arenas might be coming our way :)
Other than fifa 20 switch, could you please consider converting Letzigrund, Fritz-Walter-Stadion Kaiserslautern (both available for fifa 16) and Petrovsky Saint Petersburg (broken lighting version exists for 14)?
Cheers!

Exactly my thoughts. I think general anti-paylink sentiment was coming from the fact, that most of these sites were mirroring warez pages that were cluttered with "dark patterns", like opening dozen of popups, loop-redirecting etc, triggered firewall warning etc which was plain annoying and felt unsafe. That site you and RALE are using is really clean and user-friendly and doesn't feel like cheating you behind your back.

Actually it doesn't. My sentiment of resentment comes from a different place. We come here (at least i do) for the game that we can modify to our hearts content as opposed to the real world. And to me a big part of the integrity of this fantasy world is the fact that it's free from corrupt and skewed motives. It needs to stay pure. Otherwise what's the point? And don't tell me using paylinks doesn't change the way people approach modding and sharing. Some things should not be commercialized - it compromizes the whole experience. If making the game better isn't exciting enough for you you probably should find yourself a new hobby or face the fact that you need to get paid. There's nothing wrong with wanting to get paid, but you don't do it here. So whenever i see a paylink i just can't escape a feeling of pathetic smallness behind everything that's being created and shared. I know that everything's a product begging for our fat-ass dirty dollar. I don't need a reminder here. But that's just me.

As far as I know, these links don't take any money. They just generate income for clicks and visits. I even unchecked the "allow notifications" and "install plugin" options, so it won't force you to make this to get download link. Making this, it automatically reduces the income I get. I'm partially agree with you, @Pillowbiter. And I would like to know what others think about this. Don't worry, I'll accept any advise and opinion.

Maybe you could provide two links: one with an add link, the other on mediafire. that way people like me will have a choice. i don't download faces anymore at all because they all come with paylinks. i'd hate it if the same happened with your stadiums.

That's fair and I respect both viewpoints as well. But I also think it's not as black and white as you describe it here. You are right, there are many opportunists that exploit pay links, steal work etc - they treat modding instrumentally to earn some petty dollars. But you can't say that about gonzaga. Look at this thread - over 130 pages and I even can't count how many stadiums he uploaded. If he didn't find it enjoyable he would have given it up long time ago. Also remember - money is already there, it's just a matter of distributing it. Mediafire is paylink as well - if you click "download" on mediafire the ad popups on separate window, the difference is - mediafire gets all the share. So why being ok with that in the first place?

I always seen modding as something that comes from within passion too, be it for the game or for the fact of creating/editing itself. Sharing with community is always a bonus. And we as an audience can only appreciate that. But saying to someone that should find a new hobby just isn't fair.

I don't know man. Modding community has shrunken significantly over the last couple of years and I think it would be best if we just don't antagonize ourselves. I have nothing but mad respect for anyone that dedicates his time to share anything.

@gonzaga for me theres´s no problem if you use Linkdirect... You spend a lot of time converting and making incredible stadiums for our FIFA 14. :D
