Hum ... well I just thought I could post some things about the situation of stadiums in FIFA 2004 (there was no thread about stadiums here ... let's change that ).
Ok, as you all know FIFA 2003 and "stadiums" didn't really fit together ... the problems with the new o files and so on caused that the number of stadiums (compared to FIFA 2002) was reduced to a minimum
But - in FIFA 2004 these times are gone !
At the end of FIFA 2003 FIFA ECP released Stadium Builder, a program that enabled us to build stadiums with common 3d programs (like Rhino 3D or 3D Max for example).
With this solution, it is possible to build stadiums from zero that look extremely detailed and as realistic as possible
In FIFA 2004, EA did some changes at the o files, so we can't use this technique directly with FIFA 2004 too - but FIFA ECP is on it !
Within the next time (don't ask about an exact date, nobody can say that !), we're gonna release a program called "StadiumInstaller" and some files needed to use the "StadiumBuilder"-technique in FIFA 2004.
Firstly, StadiumInstaller will enable us to install and uninstall all stadiums for FIFA 2004 - also those stadiums created with 3D programs (FIFA can't handle them like other stadiums because of the many polygons).
In addition, all files needed to convert stadiums from the 3D program into a FIFA stadium will be released in connection with a very detailed tutorial. I wrote it origionally in German but I also did a translation into English
Ok, this about the current situation.
Concerning myself ... I'm building stadiums with Rhino for FIFA ECP, above all German stadiums (just because I know them better than other international ones ).
My last project (which is already finished) was (as you might know) the "Fritz-Walter-Stadion" of the German club "1.FC Kaiserslautern") (the stadium is also sometimes called "Betzenberg").
The stadium is complete and only waiting for the release of StadiumInstaller
There's a gallery at FIFA ECP with some screenshots - some old ones from Rhino 3D and some of the final version (In-Game).

Maybe for those who don't know the stadium, some links :

My current project is another German stadium (which perhaps more of you will know ), the Arena AufSchalke (of FC Schalke 04).
I built the stadium for the FIFA ECP UCL (Champions League) Patch which will also contain all stadiums of the teams taking part in the UCL this season (many stadiums are already done).
Although Schalke isn't in UCL, the stadium is built because it's the venue for the UCL 2004
So that's the reason why I'm gonna release more than one version, at least one UCL version and a Schalke version, I also can open or close the roof if I want
There will be a gallery with 38 pics @ FIFA ECP soon, but I already have some screens of the beta version for you (In-Game) - it's the UCL version !

Well as I told you ... I think we will have a great time with stadiums in FIFA 2004
When I posted some screenshots in the German forum "FIFA City" (of www.gfo2004.de), lots of people tried to build stadiums with Rhino, too - and some kind of "stadium boom" developed !
There are currently lots of great projects by other people, and even if some of them might look a bit strange, you have to remember that they all didn't have any experience with programs like Rhino.
So I think after some time we will have lots of interesting stadiums - and the builders will gain more and more experience !
The possibilities given by Rhino are amazing - there's still lot of leeway !
maybe some links of really nice stadiums in progress (with pics) :
