Yeah, I'm afraid it was his time to go. He really showed no improvement in the time that he was with us. I was a big fan of his in the MLS and I thought he was gonna be great for us but he just showed his limitations more than anything. He's now playing on the same team as Freddy Adu haha.

I haven't been able to figure out who Piti thinks is our best back line. I don't even think he knows yet honestly. It's gonna take some time for those guys to gel since pretty much everyone is new and they all speak different languages. Whatever the case may be, I find it hard to believe that they will be any worse than those jokers who played the second half of the season last year (Zhelev and Parpas, I'm looking at you).

edit: I forgot to add one more thing. I only see 7 guys right now as being absolute solid starters for us the whole season (8 once Kape returns to full fitness). They are: Tatarusanu, Abrudan, Emeghara, Stoica, Nicolita, Tanase and Stancu.

I haven't heard a single thing from any person related to Steaua about Kapetanos not being an integral part of the team. It's another fluff story by the press. He might not start right away but you can't tell me that he won't be key for us down the road.

BTW we're close to buying that South African guy, Thabalashalalalalalalala who scored the opening goal at the World Cup. He's a speedy left winger. I liked him at the WC.

VICTORIEEEE! That was the work of Piturca right there. The look of a disciplined team. Went down early despite the fact that we dominated the entire pitch and then we were able to claw our way back and come out victorious. Well deserved victory.

I liked what I saw from Radut and Pacurar in midfield. Geraldo and Abrudan also proved to be pretty decent in the center. Emeghara had a terrible match. Stancu was Stancu.

We had 66.5% of the possession yesterday according to gsp.ro. 16 total shots, 3 on goal (that'll have to improve). I think that's a good sign. It will be telling if we can hold that same amount of possession against the really good teams in the league and in Europe. Until then, I'm gonna keep quiet and not get too excited.
