Stop the FIFA vs PES bickering

Trying to compare these two games is like comparing apples and oranges, these are two distinct animals.
PES does things better than FIFA and vice versa, it is clear FIFA is a true sim of the sport in terms of build up in offensive and defensive strategy where as PES is a more deeper arcade, unpredictable free for all, just fun all round soccer game, it's your preference, me I like both because they both wet my appetites.

Ehmm this is a PES vs FIFA forum so it's great that people compare these two games, that's what this forum is all about they shouldn't stop the bickering. Like saying on a Pro evolution soccer forum to stop talking about pro evolution soccer... i like reading peoples different thoughts about the games... so I'd say go on with the bickering :

Problem is most people and I'm sad to say, most PES fans are still basing their opinions of Fifa on Fifa 05.

And it seems a lot of people here have never played a full game of 11 vs 11 on a grass pitch and teherefore have no clue what real football should be like.

And last but not least, seems to me like PES fans always need to reasure themselves that their game is the best game out there. Why is that?

They are constantly on the attack. And this is something I noticed over the past 2 years as well. Come on people...why do that? The fifa guys just don't seem to care too much. So why are PES players suchs snobs?

Seabass and co. are taking them for a ride. I can't believe any pes fan has the nerve to say that pes 2008 is next gen material and i cannot believe they are happy with konamis effort!!! It's appauling. I am not sayying pes isn't fun im just saying it is not ambitious given the hardware of the ps3, 360! You can't argue this. I think deep down inside even they know it but admiting it would be detremental to their cause.
P.S- when i say next gen, i dont just mean graphics but new ways of playing, game modes, a smooth online experience, crisp good audio, etc.

You know, this nonstop arguing really turns into people stating the same reasons EVERY SINGLE time, and this part of the forum really gets repetitive.

Everyone has their own opinion about which game is better and this doesn't mean we should always argue pointlessly every time about which game is better. Some think it's FIFA 08, others think it's PES2008.
