striker injury at the start of season

They made 1 striker injured at the start of the season. I tried to do substitution before he is tackled / touched by someone. But there is a red cross (injured) sign soon after he is substituted. I wonder if I do not put any striker in first line up in the Premiership opening match. Have you ever tried that before?

I won the Champ-Lea title with RM, LIV & ARS. Now trying with Chelsea. In all occassions, I found the same case (striker injury).

I have always come across a striker injury at the beginning of the season... its just apart of the scripting of the game's The Season mode. I've played with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Dortmund and in all cases there have been an injured striker(Henry, Ruud, and Ewerthon)... they usually come back within a few games. I'm sorry its happened 4 times to you, but again the game is scripted that way to make this mode more challenging to the user.

the injury is scripted so in febuary in season a misssion called the return or summen includes the player injured

i can usually avoid this by playing a non first-choice player in the striker and CAM positions (also usually with low ratings). therefore you won't care if they get injured
