Stuttering Issue

Haven't found a solution yet to not get stuttering playing 14, has anyone else had this issue/found a solution? All the menu's are fine, no stuttering/lag in that but as soon as I get into a game it's hard to play.

FIFA 13 worked perfectly on "high", I get stuttering on "low" in 14. Have tried all the fixes on the fifa-infinity fix/troubleshooting page but hasn't completely solved the problem although it definitely helped. I've had a look on a few of those sites where you enter your specs and it determines whether your computer can handle the game and they've all said that I should be able to play it on high settings so not sure what's stopping it?

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 540M
CPU: Intel Core i7 2760QM 2.40 GHz
8gb ram

Not a gaming laptop by any means but I thought it should be able to run it fine, especially on low settings. Have updated the latest nvidia drivers too.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I think there's a VSync issue, i've tried to force it with D3DOverrider but it doesn't work

update your drivers.

drivers were all up to date. all fixed now though, i changed so many settings i can't remember which one that i changed actually made the difference (possibly turning anti aliasing off on the nvidia control panel), not complaining though. cheers

Ingame turn AA off and activate it via Nvidia.
Use D3DOverrider for VSync and Triple Buffering.
