How did you manage to figure out how FIfa 13 calculates player OVR for different positions. This is something I've been looking for but couldn't find. Can you share the OVR calculation methods of Fifa for different positions?

I just would like to thank you a lot for your great job.
This is the best gameplay I have ever played to, everything is good. The difficulty is really high, something that was missing in others gameplays (but not your's). Now, I have much more trouble to score a goal and the game never ends up like 8/2 or 7/5.
The opponent team can create some football and it's a reel opposition at every game. There's no more solo run with Messi and all that stuff...
I also like the fact that you didn't change overalls.

So big thumbs up and I hope you keep doing such an amazing work.

Unfortunatly, since your last db (version 1.7.9, 4.db), I can only play friendly games and I can not play in career mode anymore. The game just crashes when loading the start of the career. I already deleted the squad file in documents folder, but it didn't work. So I deleted the Fifa 13 document in documents folder and still, the game crashes.

I really hope you can help on this because the career mode is the only mode I play to and your gameplay is the only one I really enjoy.

Same issue here as well. Using 4.0 DB. 3.0 works just fine though.

Edit: I did get it working by manually copying the ModdingWay DB folder contents to the data/db - and then I overwrote those files (named "4" db) with the FifaCC's

this db is really good. for me the most realistic gameplay i ever played(with a few tweaks on sliders). just the right speed, intelligent and unpredictable ai attacks, and right amount of fouls(though there's still the problem of the ref occassionally giving yellow cards for shirt pulling). previously in other gameplay mods, beating real madrid on legendary with a second division team wasn't hard, in fact it was easy since they don't sit back to defend. but with this gameplay, i never even seem to get the ball when playing against them and cristiano ronaldo is just playing with my defenders lol. i have played almost a full season on career with the first version of your db and it's easily the most fun i had. the opponents were never predictable and i had to work hard for every victory and occassionally have to settle for draws, sometimes even a loss (because i always get frustrated even if replay the game because i'll just lose again lol). very good work fifaCCitiu

one question though, since i usually play with real madrid castilla, in the latest version of your db + moddingway, Fabinho has around 97 sprint speed. was that intentional for a second division full back?

Yes, because phisical stats aren't linked with overall (at least a bit), but depends from calculation about role,height,weight,bodytype and age.
So Fabinho can have 97 as sprint speed,but his weaknesses is strenght (39),because he have a slim bodytype with is 78Kg on 1.87mt , and it have a med-high acceleration (71). So he need to run a bit to achieve the great full speed that he have, but with a little touch he'll fly
Although his technical skill aren't so high for a man with 64 of overall.

I'm sorry but I still can't start any career with your db.
As you said, I have downloaded the moddingway db 1.7.9: http://www.moddingway.com/file/32705.html
I manually copied the 4.db from FIFA13LMW179\Game\data\db\moddingway to my data/db folder.
Then, I took your 4.db and overwrited the 4.db from Modding Way.
I renamed it "fifa_ng_db.db" and I regenerated with FHL-BH Editor.
But the same issue appeared: it crashes when loading the begining of the career.

Do you have any idea how I could fix this?

my gameplay simply redistribute the values for every players. So , if there is error in original DB , you'll find the same error in gameplay db.
That's why i've asked if with original 1.7.9 moddingway 4.db the game will go without crash.

Not sure if your gameplay has installed ok... Is there any way to tell, i.e. player ratings to check to see if its all installed ok....?

I initially had issues with getting the Moddingway extra teams to install although now I have that working....Shakhtar is in etc...!!!

I have database 4 selected.

Did I still need to rename your DB with this newest update or just copy everything over and then use the selector to select 4.db...........?

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but since I've had your version of the moddingway mod I haven't been able to assign boots to people. Also, all players who were Adidas f50 and such boots by Adidas seem to have reverted back to the boots they first had when the game was released. Very weird, please help.

SOLUTION:
1) check in your Documents\FIFA 13\ folder. Delete squads file.
2) download http://www.mediafire.com/?vzdtv6x23schddd
3) copy the 4.db in FIFA 13\Game\data\db\moddingway folder. Overwrite 4.db
4) open Moddingwayselector.
5) in MWSelector go to select database. Select "Default Database" and apply database.
6) Close and reopen MWSelector
7) in MWSelector go to select database. Select "Database 4.0" and apply database.

Play. That will work. Without losing shoes assign.
Peluso (juventus) stats with original moddingway db:
Acceleration 73, Agility 63, Sprint 79

Peluso (juventus) stats with edited db:
Acceleration 43, Agility 57, Sprint 78
If you see latest stats the gameplay is correct installed

I see. Anyway, it didn't fix the issue initially but it's because I removed all the files from the moddingway folder (deleted the folder) and just left them in the main DB folder. Then I put them back and forgot to regenerate so my games corrupted but I think that was the problem anyway

Ok so I have everything installed up to the latest 1.7.9 with your added DB.

I deleted all the squad files that were in the Documents/FIFA - folder.

I then overwrote the 4.db with the one you had in that link above... (do I have to do the Moddingway Installer again at this point?)

I then opened up the MWSelector and chose the 'Default Database' as you said...and then closed it...

I then reopened and selected 'Database 4.0' again as you said above and then closed the MWSelector...

I then went to fire up the game and after the initial Messi screen it crashes to desktop...!!! Not sure what I left out or did wrong!



I have tried numerous different combinations and it seems that the latest 4.db you provided above to overwrite the other one causes the crash to desktop each time about
4-5 seconds after loading the game.
