Best way to nullify not being able to get by defenders is to reduce all players sprint speed to 35 and below and keep acceleration values at EA's rating.

All good to star players in the game have high acceleration with FBs close but not too close with the exception of a few like Bellerin.

Very very few CBs having high acceleration ratings it makes it harder for them to step in front of a quicker accelerating FW or MF.

Sprint speeds above 50 with acceleration at default allows all players to turn and react too quickly.

The problem is the ratings and the effect ratings have on the game, any attribute above 60 is GOD like in this game, especially agility and vision.

Once database and career files are capable of being edited I will share what I always do to my database.

The highest rated player will be a 60 overall but the impact on gameplay is major and the game will have that human feel as it should.
The career files will have to be worked to create the correct rating to wage values.

No young player will ever be capable of having an overall higher than 60, everything is a percentage based structure.

I could possibly help you with that file if you were to clean all the bullshit out of it and make it legible and easier to read.

Good suggestion. However, wouldn't that make pacey player weak and introduce catch up bug where slower players can catch up faster players?

Nothing, just add the string to locale.ini and you'll have this door in almost every stadium. ;)

Fifa 18 strings are a mystery, sometimes they go, others not, think that today I can not play because always my game crash, even with the vanilla game!

I just played in the stadiums of my career mode so no I didn't try a specific stadium :)

Bro... sorry to hear that but modder's rule #1 is always always always make 1 or 2 copies of your original files. Name them FIFA 18 original and FIFA 18 original copy and leave them right in your Origin Games folder. If you bung up your game files as a result of modding errors, simply delete the entire folder and rename one of your copies FIFA 18. I know this doesn't help you right now, but maybe it will help someone who reads this.

Maybe delete the files you know you modded and tinkered with, then go online and see if Origin will download and fix the missing files.

Just so you know and in case you don't understand, you cannot add players this way. The locale.ini file edits are mainly to improve the game play. You must edit the database to add players, there are other threads here that discuss that process.
